Will Anderson: guitar, bass, vox sometimes, plays a mean cpu-cooling-fan, does most of the composing (three letters better than "posing"), and some texting, even apart from his cellphone
Matthew Brown: vox, vox, and vox. he's written the words and vocal melodies on a few, and sung on a few more.
Michael C: The lord of the strings. An unreproducible guitar sound.
Dominic Oppliger: Plays drums on coffee, columbus, hourglass, sunday in spring, happy together, last sands...
Markus Schweizer: Plays drums on open up again, so what, script, all work no play, on the house
Matthew Brown: Will and I had formed a band while in college at Virginia Tech. We rehearsed several days a week in the basement of a house I was living at the time. We never played out anywhere and its arguable as to whether or not we had a band name, but the experience was inspiring for both of us. I have always been an admirer of well-written music consisting of strong lyrics and a powerful melody. In my opinion, writing and recording a great song is more admirable than climbing Mt. Everest: They both take a lot of determination, but only one requires the refinement of raw talent.
Our demo is the culmination of several years of thinking and two weeks in a studio. Coffee, Columbus and Hourglass are products of the band in the basement from Virginia Tech and the only songs that I wrote the lyrics for and had a hand in crafting
Its an exciting time to be making music. The vertical integration that wrecked pop music in the late 80's to present is starting to crumble thanks to the internet. Now music is shared freely and there are new mediums, such as web and satellite radio, that don't have to play by the old rules. This is creating a sea-change from an atmosphere where few, and often not-so-talented acts were pushed, to a consumer driven model, wherein the customers have access to a whole lot more inventory and they are now driving the market. Moreover, whole albums have been replaced by the single-purchase element.
What does this mean? Bands that consistently make good songs are getting more exposure and new labels are showing up to support them. There is a talented landscape emerging.
Will Anderson: My riffing days stem from constant playing at and after high school, a catholic school of 125 students in which there were no less than 4 rock bands, each covering the national bands heard on Washington's rock-radio to varying levels of trueness.
At university i gathered the courage to play not only in the dorm room but also even down the hall in the television room. Eventually my guitar was indeed too loud and I was therefore banned from playing at "home" at all. At this point Matt had been renting a house including a basement! This amazing fact led me to ask if I could bring my amps there to play a couple nights a week.
..Some people spend up to 30 bucks to get a CD they want to listen to. I spent 100 times that on a CD that I want to listen to. Why do things simple when they can be nice and complicated?

Ca va fort en Normandie. Y'a plus de saison; encore un effort et le climat de la Normandie ressemblera à celui de la Californie !
Oui c'est Nico Delah qui m'a donné votre SPACE adresse; c'est une excellente tête chercheuse ...
Yo Will,
Yeah man it was cool hanging out and hopefully we can hang again sometime when you're back in the US. Thanks for the props on the song. I listened to the album you gave me and I dig it...the first song on it (coffee i think?) is really good.
