Singing since I was small, I have always been drawn to melody and lyric. My style is one that focuses more on ballads and has come out my love for classical and folk music growing up. My influences range from Joni Mitchell to Sting, to Allison Krauss, and James Brown and U2.
I have a music minor from Middle Tennessee State University and have sung in various groups over the last few years and done BGV's for friends, in the makings of their albums and such. Oh, and I don't have any big names to put out there. Although, I have played, sung and written with my friend Ashley Warren quite a bit, and love to harmonize.
I think people people would say that my music is fresh, real, intimate and very deep to the heart of person. My hope is that I can get to those places in people's lives that they don't go to very often. I want to help to bring emotion out and to bring healing through my music.
