Meditation, regrouping, aromatherapy, stress management, music as it soothes the soul, LAS VEGAS...as well as Paradise Island, Bahamas (Atlantis or The Ocean's Club or any of the condos), Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun up in CT (or the new Harrah's though I have never been to it as yet), New Orleans, SF, San Diego, Enchantment Resort in Sedona, enchanted with Maui, Vancouver, Tofino BC, Nova Scotia. I love anything having to do with the saving the environment, sea life, animal life, wildlife, the Earth!
I love the people of the world and try and do all I can to help or be there for anyone in need.
I believe in being quite passionate about issues and your beliefs! Never let someone belittle your beliefs. Be true to yourself by showing the necessary passion for your beliefs!
I love my shih tzu boys. I had shih tzu and lhasa apso girls for 12 years prior to getting my boys. One of my dogs, Ashley, loves Animal Planet
and the Meerkats and I love Meerkats too! My other little brown-nosed dog loves to talk! He actually will talk with you. He would be a good guest for David Letterman or for a commercial :)
I am a lover of art as well as music. My favorite artists are Picasso, vanGogh, Renoir...many actually. I love to dabble with art programs as a form of recreation as well...with music in the background. :) Favorite past-times that I have not had time to do in awhile are sketchings, oil painting, writing poetry, writing books (watch out world...I will probably take you by storm if I ever sit down and get this done--I could have at least TEN BOOKS and the words would flow without having to think heavily!!) ;)
I also collect clocks, preferably from Germany, Switzerland, winding clocks. I need to replenish my inventory. I like to set them about 30 seconds from each other so that they go off not all at once, but within seconds of each other and make song! ;)
Like to dance, have fine food. Love to go to Las Vegas often, play slots, love poker, just love Vegas!

Again, I love to travel, usually fly in and out of the country, but an occasional cruise works too :). I could easily move out of our country (probably to our northern neighbors such as British Columbia, Canada, or Nova Scotia...as the countryside is beautiful (having been there often) as well as you do not have American politics to deal with.
FEELINGS: I feel we should treasure life and love, hold onto it, nurture it, live it, and never let it go. To those who have destroyed the precious with no remorse...well these people will be taken care of by higher beings.
I am an animal advocate and give to organizations that will save them or take care of them.
I am passionate about the health insurance dilemma in our country! It is ridiculous. We are such a great country supposedly...yet people LIKE ME...cannot get health insurance (due to the fact of cancer). This is ridiculous and I believe that our government should make it MANDATORY for all of our citizens to have it. After all, many in our country WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS are provided with it...so us who were born and raised here can't get it...just BECAUSE we got sick. Even if I could get it, I would never be able to afford it because they would overprice it so much. This is a HOT ISSUE with me!
Oh, I love sports cars! I have a little red one but I want a Mercedes 2-seater...that's my dream! Anyone want to donate one to a good cause in case you have one you don't need! LOL

I enjoy podcasts and have become fascinated with radio stations outside the U.S. Listen to Radio StudioPiu! ENERGY awaits you. I wonder why U.S. does not have such great DJs!I sing and I am not half bad! Love all music with very few exceptions! Love jazz, powerpop, disco (so much time spent on dance floor...WOW), alternative, rock and roll, classical, New Age, folk, SOME country, Indie artists (so many are soooooooo good), and just all kinds! I am taken by the sound of Darren Wharton/Dare. I had never heard of them until I came on MySpace and NOTHING THEY DO IS BAD!! I consider Darren to be PROFOUND. His music will take your breath away! Last movie theater movie "Sex and the City"! I have always liked SATC and could watch all shows over and over again! Before that was "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" as my nephew's (Gordy Haab)music is in the movie and he is in the movie credits. I am so proud of my nephew as he has had some really exciting things happen as a result of his "gift" of being able to compose anything and being able to play anything too! He is quite gifted. He'll be a big name one day and IMHO, he is moving up the ladder quite fast!! I believe one of my all time favorite movies is Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere and Ghost with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze. I watched "Scent of a Woman" recently on cable with Al Pacino and remembered how much I loved his performance in that movie. There are many others. The older flicks though to me are the best! I usually watch movies on TV as well as nighttime Showtime, Cinemax, HBO and Lifetime Movie Network.

I actually am writing a book! I also write poetry. I love anything Kahlil Gibran wrote and am into metaphysical reading. Recently read "The Byrds of Virginia" for personal interests. Love mystery books, lighthearted books, biographies, autobiographies, but DO NOT LIKE gothic romance novels. The book I read just before the Byrd family was HOME OF THE RED FOX written by my friend and fellow ex-MT Judity!

My father who was brilliant. He passed away in 1994 and I still miss him so. Ours was a lifetime almost of not being close, but fortunate enough to have found the real "each
other" during the last 4 years of his life! I am so blessed to have been given the chance to know my father as an adult as a real person rather than as just a "daddy." Any soldier who has either fought for our country or given their life for our country. These men and women should be commended always for their bravery. We must support our troops!
Dog rescues are also my heroes...they take care of the discarded or homeless pets that people either abused, did not care for, or could not care for.
Love is about family!...and all good things...knowing kindness. What people's mother did for them, I also did for my children, and my mother did for her children and if anyone says differently, my mother can will tell you...she knows. There should be no one that can't relate...it's called love. Peace :)

**Before I start, I want to say that I am the kind of person who loves people for who I have found them to be...their hearts...their feelings...their individuality.
I am rather strict as far as my friends go when it comes to integrity...a very important word in my vocabulary! I insist that all I know personally have this attribute and it does not take long to find out if they do. It means a lot of things in one word and says so much about you! Integrity is about doing the right thing in any given situation.**
If someone hurts you with words or actions, just don't react to them because YOU are the important person (or should be) and those you love. Always leave your heart open for forgiveness; you will feel better and it makes you a better person.

ABOUT ME:
The music playlist IS me--past and present--or as a friend of mine, the late Rob Barsky wrote "I'm a composite of my every experience." Rob I miss you. It tells who I am and what I like and in a way, what I am like. Many of you know by now that I do have a heart and that it is filled with emotion, passion and caring, and sometimes even with all we have been through in life, we can find ourselves vulnerable. That's a good thing because it shows that no matter what, we have feelings. My therapy for life is music and humor. I have a pretty good sense of humor that stays with me most of the time so occasionally you may find an off-color song thrown in a player that I place on my page! ;) My experiences along with what I have learned in life is who I am today! I FEEL LIKE THE MOST FORTUNATE PERSON IN THE WORLD to have made it through and be here! Life can be rough, but all we can do is do the best we can, have courage, face it and do what we can to make it better...and be the best person we can! There are some things we cannot change and what I can't change, I try to put it in my heart and make ME a better person. There is always room for improvement!! The good plus the bad will come together to make us well-rounded as social beings! Last I checked, my heart still beats and I have proven myself to be capable of many things I would not have imagined! I stay positive! Through trials and tribulations (we all have them), I feel like I can empathize and sympathize with an open mind and open heart and am always willing to listen. I have emotions...I laugh...I cry...I get my feelings hurt...I get angry...I say things I don't mean particularly when my feelings are hurt (biggest fault and I admit it but remember that people are not perfect, say or do things they do not mean, and always leave room to forgive yourself OR them in your heart)...but all those things are just part of the whole human element and we do get over those emotions, usually very quickly! At least I know I am human. One other thing I have found is that those with whom we may get more upset with are those we are the closest to...this is just from my perspective and may not be true with all, but it has been that way in my world, most likely due to the comfortability of being close whether it be general family or friends. MUSIC helped me through the down times and made me roll with the up times! My playlist includes some of the music I love including classical and jazz (not enough of these though)! If you stay awhile or visit often, you will see it will change intermittently. It is so much fun putting these things together, BUT IF YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW ME, look to the music you hear me play! :) I just added a couple of songs from the disco era. Trust me, I was out there doing those back drops and wearing skirts with slits almost up to the waist because you needed them! So much fun and such a release! I "think" I can still do that :) Does anyone really dance anymore??...I mean really?If so, join me. :) Picture me at a good opera, relaxing jazz or at the symphony perhaps up at The Kennedy Center or at a Rod Stewart Concert. That will give you insight into who I am and where I've been! I mix well in most social circles and find I maintain well in any conversation whether it be just social or business. I can relate music to different times in my life, both good and bad and can probably tell you what I was doing when I first heard any good song! Lifewise I am out of almost a constant transitional phase of constant change and am back where I grew up. I am near family and friends and that is so important in the world. I think people need to avoid people in our life who stress our capacities! LOL Turn to music or good art! Create visions to paper! Express!! That's what music is about...that's what art is about...all of which I love!! As far as what I like in people...I like honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence and as far as men, I like someone who looks at me as a woman and as their best friend, who has values, has GOALS yet at the same time takes time to enjoy life, a person of passion who is not afraid to show it! Passion makes all the difference in the world...and we show passion in many aspects of our life whether it is work or play!! :)

Welcome! I am a true redhead (strawberry blonde), feisty they say, living currently in Richmond VA where I grew up.
I am a "young" (haha) petite 5 feet 4 inches tall, barely 100 pounds, and am a very outgoing individual (not an introvert) with lots of energy. The last few years have consisted of many changes, but then, life constantly changes! It teaches you to ENDURE and to APPRECIATE!! I have lived from California right on to FL, NC, NY, and here in VA several times. I LOVE TO LIVE AND HAVE FUN!! I probably have done just about anything in the business world! I most recently have been a medical publication columnist with a broad scope in just about any field of business including nursing. I am quite intelligent and have recently been a national corporate recruiter as well as I still teach, mentor and train in the medical profession. Have worked in the legal end, worked in television for several years with an ABC affiliate, pharmaceutical sales, and have been a medical transcriptionist also (which started me actually working at home). I love to put names with faces and know that everyone is human! Feel free to email me. I love meeting the folks on MySpace! I have been on the net forever and I remember when everyone **used** to say that they wanted to be anonymous because we were not real out here! Uh-uh! Ha! WE ARE REAL! WE EXIST! I love to travel preferably by plane, but I also love cruises. On a personal level, I am influenced by strength, wisdom and people who accept life's challenges willingly. If you are the type of person who turns your back from your problems, I most likely would not like you. I like people who are kind, show good spirit emanating from themselves. My strength and zest for life apparently got me here today along with a LOT of walking!(yes, this is leading to the boots below :) I am very motivated, outgoing, professional, and in my personal life can be very laid back, spunky, found to love life, fun, spirited, and PASSIONATE about my interests! I do volunteer work also (when I get a chance) and hope to have more time to do more in the future. I am also very friendly and if you need a shoulder, I am good for that too! Sometimes I need a shoulder too so if you have one, I'm game! :) Also, those who know me remember I have a sense of humor and our humor gets us through. Mine is rather dry and many who know me can never figure out if I am serious or not, but more than likely I say things jokingly rather than seriously so do remember that! :) Don't just think I am all good...I can be a bitch as well as the next person! We all have those days, but I'd like to think there are fewer of them now that I understand ME! Being a little redundant (sorry), my favorite thing to do is travel though and try to go wherever I can when the opportunity arises. I am enchanted with the ocean, people's eccentricities, eclectic tastes (as mine are quite eclectic), talent, people who give of themselves as I have always tried to give of myself with passion to whatever project I work on. I am writing some books right now and boy will they be good if I ever finish! I go through dry spells often though! Since being on My Space beginning in January 2007, I have taken it upon myself to promote newer talent when I have the time because it is a dog-eat-dog business...the music industry! So many profound and excellent talents, different sounds...they need to be heard so I try and exhibit some in My Top List.I believe in angels and angel dust!! :o)
FAMILY: Children, whether small or grown, make it impossible to forget your past as they are your fruits and in my case what kept me going most of my life while they were growing up. Now that they are grown, they are still the most important people in my life...I love them dearly, ALL of them...and whether we live next door or across the country, I will always love them as priority #1 no matter what differences we have or have had! My love for my children is no different than any mother's love for theirs if they are a good mother. I actually happen to have 4 grown children (which includes a set of identical twins, age 41, my daughter who is 44, my "baby" son who is 36). My dear mother is still alive, though not well, and I am blessed to have such a wonderful person as my main influence in life and my best friend as well! As well the rest of my family whom I all love are Greg, Gordon and Bobby and my brothers' families!! :) I VALUE FAMILY...a person's roots!! Nothing in the world is dearer than a warm loving family. I AM blessed to have been raised in a warm loving environment that was intact and I cherish that. I cherish ALL my family.

I believe in love! :) Love is not possessive; it is confident. There are many ways to love and it is something that we are so very fortunate to find/or have found in our lives! May we all be so fortunate to have this experience! I have been lucky in love more than once and believe in it...many different kinds of love. DISLIKES: I dislike a hypocrite!!! I dislike people who have nothing better to do with their time than to play people. I dislike a liar, probably this is my number one pet peeve! MY SAYING:

In the ways of Gendun Drup the first Dalai Llama who I record in logic as an incarnation of Shiva heself, the world saw for a first time a new peace in regards to wholeness of gender equality and the reality of servitude and ponder of this. This being for the Dalai Llama is the aspect of Shiva where one comes to be in a divine journey of the innersanctum ways of the Almighty Provider of life and soul. For this they of the sanctum of the life of Shiva learn of salvation souly of his ways of a personal nature. To see that Ganesha is the last sanctum of divinity. Here one encounters a stiff life of knowing that but an arena away lives the fifth Gods and thier special loves. Bless you today and Aum Kaumari and Aum Kaumari's hope for you!!! A quick note. I will be doing a series of writings of the universial aspects of the Almighty God of the Kali way. The celebration and ritual of Kali I hope to find peace in and I hope you will print A Kali out or A lingam and partake! I began with some holly prassad offering for a dearest friend of mine and my own birthday feast. Three days of preperation of turning some raw beans into a sacred offering to Kaumari! Bliss of a thousand years did this bring me and the feast to sacred to be spoken of! As well some vegetables prepared traditionally in the way of Seva of cooking prassad devotionally. As well I have my Kaumari and my Lingam on a seperate place with a vessel of wooden matchsticks. To realize the benefit of this is to realize that Kaumari stands for we the human beings to know only of the fifth worshiped human beings as Gods and that all others are equal. Aum Eklingi The Creator, Aum Murugren The Preserver, Aum Devi The Destroyeress, Aum Skanda The Remover of Obstacles (in honor and humble grace), Aum Shiva The Provider. In homage of The Almighty God and in peace that none other but five ever recieve prayers or worship, of free will.
