DJ SINISA TAMAMOVIC / Night Light Records / Urban Beat, BL
Sensing the call of the beat in the deep, tech and funky house that swept the continent in the late 1990s, Bosnian knob-twiddler Sinisa Tamamovic hit his own decks with an endless string of gigs in his hometown of Banja Luka, Republika Srpska.
Nearly ten years on, Sinisa has established a reputation for throwing mind-numbing parties across Europe, attracting a legion of followers willing to cross borders to get a taste of his twisted techno, tech-house and minimal beats.
Since 1999 Sinisa has successfully partnered with fellow Banja Luka DJ Mladen Tomic in their URBAN BEAT organization. Quickly recognizing a niche to fill in the recovering Bosnia, Urban Beat has evolved as probably the country’s foremost promoter of events and parties by booking top drawer international names to satisfy a hungry home crowd.
That success pays off this winter with the landmark launch of NIGHT LIGHT RECORDS, the brainchild of Sinisa and Mladen. NIGHT LIGHT will showcase its solid roster of releases via established international distribution network TRIPLE VISION, based in the Netherlands.
Working under the banner of Urban Beat, the Banja Luka DJ duo has successfully built events and tours in their native Republika Srpska and throughout Bosnia. Sinisa has been resident of the most important clubs across Republika Srpska, including Club Boomerang and Music Hall (Banja Luka) and is seen as a ground-breaker for the house-techno scene in the region. He has played alongside most leading international DJs from Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and beyond. Recent deck-partners include Marko Nastic, Umek, Pedro Delgardo, Valentino Kanzyani, Svan Vath, Jamie Anderson, La Di Da, Craig Walsh, Marco Carola, Deetron, Terry Francis, Cristian Varela, Preach, Ade Fenton, Misjah, Trevor Rockcliffe, Marco Bailey, Ben Long, Brenda Russell, Adam Jay, Paul Hazendonk, Funk D Void, Antoine Clamaran, A.T.F.C, Terry Farley, Virgin Helena, Azzido de Base, etc.
His first original release SIGN 1 EP came on Dutch label Fly Life in December 2005, swiftly followed two months later with the originally-titled EP SIGN 2. The download fave DESTRYER EP came in March 06 on BASSETHOUND, followed by a May remix for Pedro Delgardo on Adult Records. Since then, Sinisa has put out a stream of original tracks and remixes for international names – and continues to do so on his own Night Light vinyl label, as well as from previous stables.

Deep, experimental, acid-minimal and techno are just a very small part of Aumrec's sounding in this release.
They boldly introduce to us their vision of contemporary electronic dance music. Aumrec's sounding is partly modern and brave but they've put a light, interesting flavour of the good, old Detroit techno.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
