About me: Sinister Foxy specializes in tour booking and management. We know that as an artist, you want to focus your time and energy on making and playing music. Sinister Foxy takes the burden of generating massive amounts of paperwork, mailings, and contract negotiations off your hands so that you can stick to what you do best—performing.
Sinister Foxy was founded by Kim Paris, a Detroit music industry veteran. For years, Kim has traveled nationally and internationally to music conferences, such as CMJ in New York City and North by Northeast in Toronto. Having worked in various avenues of entertainment—such as radio (WDET), print (Real Detroit Weekly), film (Detroit Film Center), and live music venues (OSLO, Bohemian National Home, Fifth Avenue)—she has an insider’s perspective on the music business, along with countless industry connections.
In the summer of 2006, Kim hit the road with the Detroit band, The Questions, after booking their five-week nationwide tour, making stops in New York, New Jersey, Boston, Cincinnati and New Orleans, among others. The experience left her with a first-hand account of what's needed logistically while touring.

“You hear one note of a Bach sonata, and it hangs there, glittering,
pulsating, for an endless length of time, while you slowly orbit around
it. Then hundreds of years later, comes the second note of the sonata,
and again, for hundreds of years, you slowly drift around the two
notes, observing the harmony and the discords, and reflecting on the
history of music.” Tim Leary.
