Rock Texas is clearing a path to a new future in live music performance. We're developing a program that will give dozens, and eventually hundreds of bands more options to play. Venues, too, will benefit from our plan.
We're going to develop public concerts across the state to promote communities. We'll be raising funds for and awareness of Texas Wounded Veterans. And we'll be giving a growing number of talented bands new places to play!
To make it work, however, we will need partners and support across the state! We're inviting business owners, organizations, and individuals who believe in the music like we do to be a part of our musical revolution!

Commitment is everything!

The Rock Texas CD project is on target to go into production before the end of November.  There's an ever increasing level of interest in our "Out of the Shadows" CD hosting the Best of Texas Hometown Bands.  Space is limited and already there's more interest than there's room on the disk.  Commitment, then, is what will separate the bands that find a place on the disk from those who don't.

Rock Texas is on a mission.  It begins with the release of “Out of the Shadows,” the compilation CD.  From there it will grow and expand until we blow the lid off the rock and metal scene in Texas and spread the music all over the state far beyond the bars, pool halls and cafés where it lives now.

“Out of the Shadows” is more than a cool CD name.  It's a phrase that represents where we're coming from, out of the shadows of an unknown world and into the light of day.  Our slogan is “We are the Drug.”  What does that mean?  It means our music is the answer, the elixir, to the angst and frustration many people in Texas are feeling.  People live on the edge these days.  Our music speaks to the heart and soul.  But you know that.  That’s why you do it.
