    yeah dude scope craigslist for old used road bikes and track bikes and you can get started for dirt cheap. the most expensive thing on mine was the wheels at $140, but i'm sure you can find good ones for even less than that.

    yeah dude i really liked having a road bike and thought i'd be cool with just that until i rode one of my friends' fixies back in septemberish or so. the fever struck me a week or two ago to start building this old thing up into a decent one. it's almost done. just have to wait on my wheels to arrive here and i should be good to go after that.
