Sin-Q is a Puerto Rican born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the age of eighteen, a choreographer friend, Jill Okura, encouraged him to take up dancing and modeling. Following some training and local performances at EJO Dance Company in Long Beach, Ca, he started getting bookings from Cross Colors, Van Buren and JimmyZ runway shows. In addition, Sin-Q was featured in "Connoisseur Magazine" with photographer Mark Hanauer.
In 1992, Sin-Q toured with En Vogue as "liquid man". In addition performed on the MTV Music Awards. Music runs through generations of the talented
Sin Q family. He dedicates his music to his cousin, Angela Bofill, the incredibly gifted singer/songwriter, as well as many other artists and talented souls who have inspired us all. In late 2007, Sin-Q was blessed to have joined the ranks of Blackliquid productions. Blackliquid and Sin-Q have since completed an album together. Forthcoming and current releases on the digital house label ‘Blackliquid Music’ include "Moments", "Galactic Love" and "We Aint Havin It". Sin-Q's album will be completed for release 2009. Featured remixers include Sista Stroke, Christian Scott, Matt Prehn and Blackliquid. Currently based in Los Angels, California, Sin-Q is part of an amazing team of creative Producers/DJs/Artists/Musicians created as a musical entity as diverse as the very planet it houses.
