Sinus began in Atlanta in 1995 with a 4-track tape recorder and a heap of various noisemaking objects. The resulting cassette (yeah, go 1995) sold out its limited run of 250 copies. Influenced heavily by early Aphex Twin, the Sinus cassette defied category. Nine years and three cd's later, Nathan Alexander and occasional collaborator Alex Smith continue to make electronic music with "found sound" and a mix of old and new technologies.
How bizarre...I was just going through my friends and decided to check out what's happening with Sinus only to see that I posted a comment here today about Starbucks!?!?!?
Honestly...I didn't do that. Hope all is well.
hey hey... This is great, Love Mike Patton eating xylophone! I have to say! Maybe you should try some Phil Spector snorting a banana peel next... ;-)
Seriously though, I very much enjoyed the tracks you have up. Hope to hear more!!!!
