About me:

Current:
i'm currently producing music under the artist name Arcmatix in genres ranging from, but not limited to, Dubstep, Down Tempo, Trip Hop, House, Drum n Bass and anything in between that materializes in the studio.

History:
since i was a kid i have been surrounded by music and musicians. through the years i have played keys, drums, classical guitar and bass guitar. started producing electronic tracks in 1995 and have been djing since 1996.

1997 brought together the dj duo hak and siphon. at the time san jose didn't have a drum n bass scene. wanting to see more drum n bass in an otherwise house saturated city we strived for one offs, monthlies and weeklies. as we moved into 1998 we started a weekly 'ghetto junglism' at a grimy little venue called 301 stockton - short lived we weaved through manga, blade runnin, synthetic, breaks@velvet shop and the first successful drum n bass weekly in san jose 'killasubz' which lasted a good 3 years. all this activity brought together a core group of dj's: siphon, hak, das, proxy, genome, symplex, know1 and robbliss. some went on to start another successful weekly in san jose called clandestine. finally with the combination of the 2 weeklies and years of hard work the south bay has a solid drum n bass presence!

in the middle of all this the viberation crew was very active and the parties we provided were something never to be forgotten. if you've never been to one then you missed out. we kept them small and intimate 200-500 people and they are all a big part of my memories. i also helped with quest, harmony, cloud factory, freebass and bbq & beats events. all of which are quality people to work with and their events were timeless.

from 1996-present i've played throughout california, washington, nevada, canada and other locations. i concentrate more on producing music but still enjoy spinning records.

without music, life would be a mistake. -Friedrich Nietzsche
