I live in Newquay, Cornwall, and about 2 minutes walk down the road is the Newquay Bay, which although is not the most consistent spot for kitsurfing in Cornwall it does work well on a north east wind and makes a nice change. About 7 minutes walk in the other direction is Fistral Beach, and that works great in west wind. Of course it's great for surfing and although I kite more than surf these days, if I'm surfing that's where it'll be.
Then, about 12 minutes drive is Watergate Bay. One of the original spots for kiting in Cornwall, you can get lessons there and all sorts. It's a super consistent spot, good for practising wave riding.

Thanking you good sir. The crossroads at Summercourt initially was the meeting point but we had to relocate to the centre of Quintrell Downs Roundabout due to roadworks. People were really staring though which really put me off but I'm hoping I only signed up for the one lifetime. Thing is, if you sign up for 2, you get the chance to jam with Steve Vai and redeem your soul... I'm torn.
Ya know what Dom mate that means alot!!i miss the old days!!! Manchester is great but miss Newquay badly! taking driving lessons in the ne xt few weeks...considering some surfing lessons to..once ive got my car gonna need a hobby that isnt decks!!
