MY PHILOSOPHY:
Since I was a child writing poetry has been a fascination for me. The real history of people and human life inspires me more than anything.
I love to write in English because I think its language is universal and I know that allows me to share my feelings with so many people in so many different countries.
I feel a special connection with Japanese people because I can understand their ideology and religion. Many of them understand the words KI or Chakra which only a few people in Europe do by comparison.
I was born in Barcelona (Spain) but I always felt a strong connection with other countries as well as Japan. But, really, I feel like I am from everywhere yet belong in no single place.
When I sing I like it to be about positive emotions and help my audiences to be happy; to have a strong connection with audiences. Sometimes even being sad can bring a kind of happiness….happiness to be alive to feel such emotions. To share our emotions like I share mine, to remind people we are never really alone and Hope is ever present. By singing I try to offer my support for people in an emotional and positive way.
When I write a song I am inspired often to write about the problems in our society at the present time. I would like to inspire UNITY and PEACE between all countries and people. I believe it is so important to keep reminding everyone of that.
The oven is pumping for hours on end, on top burners R blazing even a micro kicks in, an array of aromas trigger memories that mend, years of football & music, family & friends, A day to be thankful of our Soldiers & Health, to be cognizant of the homeless, the one's who sadly HAVE only their-self, Remember that OPEN HEARTS will only endorse, maybe make a life change its abandon coarse....,If you believe in endless love, I might stop on by & give that TURKEY of yours a really good STUFF :) Happy THanksgiving and much love always, Jostel :)
Welcome to Theory of Tides. Check out our crosscurrents of alt rock, hip hop, techno and trance. Feedback, tell us your faves. Happy to have you here/hear in our Tidal Pool. THE TIDE IS IN…AND SO ARE THE REVIEWS ‘N’ INTERVIEWS:
-NEUFUTUR: “Mirana’s vocals further establish Theory of Tides as a truly special act, one that can use the widest possible swath of approaches to create the music heard here.” - SKOPE: “Cool, hip and modern beats are fully loaded on this new albumand I simply can’t get enough!” -EMUSIC: “…it’s like alternative trance music, with brief smatterings of hip hop/latin beats. Arty, yes - but does it work? Actually, yes.” - NEUFUTUR: “Theory of Tides, and this album specifically, should be seen as a blueprint for how to properly incorporate disparate genres of music into one cogent sound.” - SKOPE: “…Mirana simply sang her heart out while she meshed in perfectly with Rick’s production the all around connection at the end with everything coming together beautifully proves that the tide is high.” - NEUFUTUR: “Karaoke is Theory of Tide’s first bona fide hit, with cohesion abounds between the instrumental and vocal sides of the act. This results in a track that rides a groove while Mirana’s vocals clue listeners into a wonderfully detailed narrative.” - EMUSIC: “Track’s like ‘Elated’ have an Ibiza-in-summer feel and a deep house beat underneath Mirana’s distinctive vocals. ‘Hour of Pain’ is built on a swishing cymbol symbol beat and keyboard chords, and again it works – the vocal fades and quiet bass additions are spot on.” - SKOPE: “One aspect that I truly loved about his album was the use of sounds and beats. The sound production is spot on with Rick bringing his A-game. I heard everything form hip hop, pop/dance, technoish, trance like and tribal beats…”
“I should get a normal life, but I don't really want one, so will stay who I am” (A quote by some daft fool setting up Paul Weston Arts! See links below.)

“Dance”
“The expression of love, grace an elegance A movement of intimacy, empowerment, romance Riding the crest of an ocean wave Gliding through the air on a breezy day My body on Earth my soul reaches away To Heaven. The religion of rhythm A moth to a candle A key to a slave of Pleasure and pain I take my first emancipated steps Freedom This is my chance. That’s where I go When I Dance.”

If we all just put a little love in our hearts we could heal this world we are living in today. And our children and there children would then live in a better world...
Have a wonderful weekend my friend, Love and Blessings, Lisa
I saw this quote shortly after posting my latest blog;
"It doesn't matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going." ~ Brian Tracy
I guess it's just another way of saying look ahead and don't look back, but I thought how true it is that it doesn't matter what we have been through, our self-perceived flaws or our so-called failures. We can't do anything about the past but learn from it and move on, hopefully using it as a tool to better discover our greater purpose.
