We are a generation of struggling souls, lost in a world that lacks definition. Those of us who stand tall as ourselves get locked in constant strife against the reigning powers. Those who give in and conform feel suffocated under the expectations of others. A world that judges you, yet preaches acceptance. A society built on freedom that allows for anything but. What are we suppose to be, where are we meant to go?

Best Era: Grunge.
Movies
Don't watch many these days, due both to finance and lack of anticipation over new releases. Use to be big on Sci-Fi/Fantasy but the 90’s kinda destroyed the genre. Yes… they made smashing break throughs in visual effects, but while they were hustling to out do each other in that field most forgot the importance of a plot. Not to mention that modern day effects (C.G.I.) leave you doubting the authenticity of what you saw. Namely in that what you saw wasn’t really there to start. When it was claymation and puppetry you felt the creature come alive, due to the tangible creation it was filmed of. When the whole of a scene is produced on a computer monitor, well… it shows. It is too crisp, too clean, too perfect. Real things are flawed, lighting acts differently on a real object than what a computer simulates. Yes, the advent of C.G.I. allowed many things that were never possible to come to life on the big screen, it also allowed for the mass production of crap.
That aside, I have enjoyed many films of the past, and modern eras. I find that I liked anything Jim Henson was apart of, from Labyrinth and Dark Crystal to the original Star Wars Trilogy and first Ninja Turtles. Most Fantasy films from the 80’s still get me going, though I find them slightly cheesier than I did as a child. Same goes for the Sci-Fi of the era, and the decade preceding it. The 90’s started off strong, but fell off in those fields, yet the rising of minds like Tarantino gave us many enjoyable flicks, as obnoxious as he may be. Few comedies hold ground, ones that do tend to be mixed media, comedy/dramas or comedy adventures like the old Edie Murphy films. Most westerns keep my interests, from the old, dull John Wayne ones to modern classics like Tombstone; I’m your Huckleberry. Most horror films leave me laughing, where as films like The Sixth Sense send chills up my spine. Classic films really catch my attention; Breakfast at Tiffany’s was likely one of the best films ever.

Heroes
This is no world for heroes.
No place for saints.
Not a home for angles.
We share a theme of greed.
In cities built on lies.
In homes without hope.
We press on.
Break down walls.
Crash through barriers.
Who am I? Who is anyone?
What collection of words
Could possibly give
The slightest glimpse
Into one’s
True being?
Who can simplify themselves into such trivial phrases?
Eh… I’ll try anyway.
People say I’m a nice guy, even though I assure them I’m an asshole.
Been called a pessimist, but consider myself a realist.
Am troubled by a constant contradiction of emotions.
I find there is a rash on my soul, I call it life.
I’m willing to work, but prefer to lounge.
Am a kid at heart, though elderly in body.
Long to be loved, yet fear being hurt.
Pretty girls make me nervous.
Smarter than I act, yet wiser than my years.
An uninspired artist. An untrained musician.
I write when I need to evacuate emotions.
The last person that will judge you for being you.
Lost my faith in everything, but found peace with life.
I cry, sometimes. I dislike humanity. I like when it rains.
Was broken, now I’m working to put the pieces of my life back together.
For friends it is pretty simple, just looking for people who are chill, enjoy the stuff I do, are open minded and just no hassle to be near. So yeah...
Save the drama for your moma!
For dating and the such... really dunno. Someone who stimulates me, both physically and mentally I suppose. Someone I click with, find cute or whatever. Yeah, what does anyone want really? Some say they like this type or that type but then keep whining about always dating the same kinda person. Others find that special someone right next door. But I gotta say... Latinas have it going on.
Trashy Brunettes seem to catch my eye. Take that for what its worth.
Eitherway, hit me up, chat, hang out, see what spawns.
Peace peeps.
"Be excellant to each other."
"And party on dudes!"
