Sir DNA is a band consisting of Andris Sice and Matt Jones with various singers and musicians. All the music is composed and performed in Andris' computer based studio including the microphone recording of the singers and musicians.
A few years ago Andris was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. After being forced to leave his day job what was he to do with the rest of his life?
His life long passion had been music and he'd been playing it for for quite a while so it wasn't hard to decide to get more deeply involved in its composition and production. He played piano and keyboard and as time went on got more and more interested in electronic sounds and computer music in general. He bought a computer and learnt to make music on it. That took quite some time.

Sir DNA’s music combines floating angelic textures with the gravity of Jupiter. An outstanding mix of lush instrumentation combines with both prominent and unobtrusive elements of electronica.
It has an electrifying blend of styles with liberal sprinklings of lounge, trip-hop, electronic and world music. Completely accessible, it’s music that’s dared to step outside the mainstream, a refreshing break from the every day, finely spiced exotica for those ready for a journey.
“My Left Hand” defies genres and pigeonholes. It will reward careful listening. Beautiful and diverse, it’s a triumphant debut.
