Alittle about me:
I've been Self Injuring for 9 1/2 years, and the last year is when I finally realized it's a problem, and need to stop. Only 4 people know that I self injure [there could be more. But I've only told 4] Besides the great people I've met online. In January of 2007 I was going through a lot of stress and decided to create a message board to cater to the people I met online that also self injure. Within the last year we have gotten upto 171 members on the message board, and it just seems to keep growing!
I knew I wouldn't be able to recover alone, and the support of my friends on this message board has kept me going. I'm gunna recover this time.
I recommend anyone that needs the help in recovering, come to the message board and check it out. Once you sign up you'll be able to see all of the board topics...and you'll be on your way to a greatly supported recovery.
If you ever need to vent or just talk, message or comment me anytime. I'm always here for you.

TRIGGER
The video below may be triggering to some people.
It is a public service announcement another MySpace member has created about Self Injury. Watch at your own risk.
Earth Hour is an international event that asks households and businesses to turn off their lights and non-essential electrical appliances for one hour on the evening of 29 March at 8 pm local time until 9 pm to promote electricity conservation and thus lower carbon emissions.
It is promoted by World Wide Fund for Nature Australia (WWF), an environmental lobby group, and the Sydney Morning Herald. The first Earth Hour was held in Sydney, Australia between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm on 31 March 2007. The 2007 Earth Hour is estimated to have cut Sydney's mains electricity consumption by between 2.1% and 10.2% for that hour, with as many as 2.2 million people taking part. A second Earth Hour, in 2008, is planned to be an international event held in Sydney, many partner cities, and individuals around the world participating.
On Saturday, March 29, 2008, Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – from 8:00pm to 9:00pm in their local time zone. On this day, cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Chicago, Melbourne, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, will hold events to acknowledge their commitment to energy conservation.
To mark the moment, please turn off all your lights and unused appliances at the switch at exactly 8 pm for one hour.
We can sacrifice just one hour that can make a difference for everyone, can’t we?
Thanks so much in helping make Earth Hour a huge global event and enjoy your hour of darkness.
