Sounds Like
Saxcore ; n ; (saks - kor) : Imagine At The Drive-In if they took vocal lessons from Bright Eyes, then added in sax lines that are equal parts funky and contemplative. Next put in a little piano to carry the low end, help busy up those quiet parts, and give the listener something to focus on. Oh, and don't forget the trumpet. Once the layout is complete, just write every song so that when you play it, the audience is watching and listening intently to see what will happen next. Or you could just take a listen for yourself and see what you think.

Siren is a five-piece, constantly recording and touring band from Maryland and Pennsylvania. We have all been friends for years and enjoy our long road trips and experimenting with varied instrumentation. Able to play loud rock shows and intimate acoustic settings, our shows are energetic, dynamic, and never sound the same twice. Our albums try to capture that excitement, as we often find ourselves recording in old barns and empty churches instead of highly controlled studio settings. Everyone in the band comes from a very different musical background and we attempt to meld all of our influences to make something interesting and new. Thanks for looking us up and listening. Hopefully we'll see you at a show sometime.

GRACIAS! (thanks!) you guys were pretty awesome too, it was cool seeing how you incorporated so many instruments. lets us know if you guys come by here again and we'll definitely put on another gig together, PEACE! :)
i'm glad the touring is going well. wish i could be there. the daily grind is so stupid. but, on the plus side, i should have a song up on my artist site pretty soon for you guys to check out when you're on the road. keep doing what you're doing, and like a wise old cake once said, rock on!
You guys are awesome...srsly, the most entertaining act i've seen in a long time. I wish you tons of success in your endeavors--so long as you keep danny away from the jameson, i think you'll be all right.
Thanks so much! If you come back to CT, I'll have learned my camera by then, so I can get better shots. So let me know. Thanks so much for the credit on the album. =D
Hey it was fantastic hearing you guys. We already told all our friends who awesome it was to play a show with a fucking baller band like Siren. Ha. And we would love to do another show in the future if it we could.
Hey guys. It was great meeting you guys too! All of the pictures are in my picture album titled "the space". I'll let you choose which pictures you want. I apologize for the quality, I'm still learning how to use my camera. It's new and this was my first time taking it to a show. I'm wishing you luck in the future and if you're ever back in CT before September, hit me up. I'd love to see you again!
Thanks for the add. I am totally digging your music and sound. Please do the same for me and check out the first single I released off of my full length album and leave me a comment. Thanks.
