“From a reviewer who hates superlatives, Sirens is no less than an amazing accomplishment”
-Adam Garrett, Columbus Alive
Sirens is comprised of Kay Harris and Molly Pauken, two of Ohio's most sought after studio and live-performance musicians. In addition to writing and performing their own music, Kay and Molly lend their vocal and instrumental talents to all varieties of CD and demo projects.
Sirens music is all about the unique melody, the expression through lyric & voice and the texture of acoustic guitar & bass coming together to create unique but timeless pop songs. Their original compositions range stylistically from pop to acoustic rock to blues to funk to folk to create Sirens' own unique sound.
In addition to performing as a duo, they also frequently perform as a quartet with Pete Cary on guitar, bass and vocals and Jeff Peters on drums and percussion, and as a quintet with Craig Markley on Keyboards and Accordion. Their energy and passion for music, will likely draw you in and bring you back for more! If you haven't seen Sirens live, check out their performance schedule.
The first Harris/Pauken collaboration "Could've Been Mojo" is featured on Molly's solo disc. The two have been writing and performing their own original music ever since!
