SirSickSik is a one-man music-composer, who sometimes has a combo with some friends of his. At this site you'll find his latest tracks ranging from easy-listening ambient tracks to blowing-away tekno and breakbeat. Starting his music carreer on age 7, recording his acoustic guitarplaying with an oversteering amp to create a distortion, he soon switched to an electric guitar. While at the beginning he was mostly influenced by rock and punk, he soon created interest for harder music scenes, like metal. At first he didn't like electronical music at all, hearing the soft, commercial, dead-inside tracks on the radio. This, until he met some people in the underground goa and tekno scene. From this point it went fast. After the 'full moon goa-festival' in 2003 he started to produce his own music at an alarming speed: track after track was produced weekly and even daily, of course not all of them completed, searching his own sound. Now, four years later, his sound has changed dramaticly, while the feelings in the old tracks have still prevailed. The speed of track-production has nonetheless not slowed down. It has even gone faster. Striving to make as much of the sounds and rythm himself as possible, he nowadays also makes his own software-synths to use for his tracks. Starting to get a feel in this all, he's lately beginning setting up for his first cd and live-set, featuring ambient, drum&bass, breakbeat, breakcore and nasty tekno.
So, what is SirSickSik all about? He's trying to get even with the nasty feelings which we all have. While feeling bad sucks like hell, still, a life without sadness, pain, problems etc. isn't a life at all. Life is about overcoming these 'problems', and without these, life isn't life itself. No life is only beauty.

Thanks for the response, glad you like the music. I'm mainly using logic for sequencing and some analogue synths for other sounds! Not really using samples much at the moment, what about yourself?
