SIRUS B THE ORIGINATOR AND LEADER OF "THE SIRUS B POSSE" WITH SIRUS B PRODUCING, PERFORMING VOCALS, ELECTRIC PIANO AND GUITAR, COMPOSING THE MUSIC AND THE LYRICS
Born in Chicago IL, 1972 self taught since the age of 14. His older brother played bass in a high-school band. Moved from Chicago to The U.K.. Where he then hooked up with DJ's Producers and Musicians in the rare groove, roots, funk scene. Working with producers and Musicians such as the Alletti Bros. and Jamiroqui as well as countless others.
He later moved to the west coast, Bringing the funk and roots with him...
Now a Maui resident for ten years, Sirus B. has honed his own brand of music; JUNGLE FUNK ROOTZ DUB, an eclectic mixture of everything that is REAL, Soul, and ....FUNK!!
Sirus B's Experience
Learned Guitar in London with The Aletti Brothers and a production team based in west London. Sirus B's musical expertise includes:
