Unleashed with melancholy on Roland SH-2 pads, Wolves is a slow building track with akinda “Billie Jean” groove. Ideal to start or even end a set, WOLVES will keep the last man standing. The herd is lurking.

Think of a hot but really sexy moment in a dark club. Paul Verhoeven summed it
in his “Basic Instinct”. Our wonderful Chloe transferred the whole sexual energy of the
scene in her remix. We thank her.
B1 • SPEAK LIKE A TRUE JFK
Well the title is self explanatory: SISKID’s dark vocals lead the way along with its
goose step groove. The analog bassline and acoustic drums install a freaky vibe, which
give the true edge to the song. The relentless speech will give you no other choice but to comply.
B2 • MENTAL BRUISING FOR JACKIE O.
Possibly Jackie O’s perspective, in a more robotic and dancefloor mood ! So dance stupid !
C • SPEAK LIKE A TRUE JFK REMIXED BY REMAIN (Digital Exclusive)
REMAIN has chosen to conserve the martial groove of the track, focusing his
work on bringing out the freakier side of JFK by playing on the toms. His production on
the vocals gives an even darker side really close to SISKID’s personality.
Hailing from Manchester, a town which symbolizes the blend of guitars and machines,
SISKID had a classical musical education before making his first steps on the rock and electronic scene. He is known for his dark and melancholic sounds, and upbeat rhythms.
With gigs and festivals under his belt such as Wire, Oxygen, and Sonar (and many more...), and residencies at renowned spots such as Rex Club in Paris, SISKID isn't shy about sharing his talents.
His releases under the pseudonym SISKID on Initial Cuts to date, include « Clean Breakfast », « Hummer », « The Architect », and « She has reasonable doubts » are as many dance floor hits which found their way into the record boxes of such artists as Michael Mayer, Chloe, Laurent Garnier, The Hacker, Agoria, DJ Hell and Tiefschwarz, to name a few.
He was solicited by Scratch Massive to remix « Dance » which featured on their second album « Time ».
Until recently he was also the lead guitar, bass and keyboard artist during the live performances and recording sessions of the band Blackstrobe (Ivan Smagghe and Arnaud Rebotini). The outcome was the album « Burn your own Church » which was recorded in London with producer Paul Epworth (Block Party, Maximo Park), mixed by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine, Marilyn Manson), released on Beggars Banquet
in June 2007.
He has now moved on, and together with REMAIN, has created MEANT RECORDS, an independant record label, which will shortly be releasing his new Siskid electronic titles and other projects.
His new Siskid, « WOLVES » EP, which features huge remixes by REMAIN and CHLOE,
will be released on June, 15th on MEANT RECORDS ! Whether he's on guitars or machines,
the decks or keys, his alluring and arresting sets and releases undoubtedly make SISKID an incredibly important fixture in the future of electronic music with this new EP : « WOLVES ».
This multi talented artist has another project namely, ANIMAL MACHINE, which a new Ep « RUMOUR CONTROL » released on MEANT RECORDS.
