La Magia Existe
is Sismo's follow-up to their critically acclaimed album Pueblo (2004, discos nancy). Recorded between Bogota and Los Angeles, the album mixes Sismo's evocative sonic landscapes with a sound that is more live oriented. Synths and bells now make room to guitars and drums, never losing an essential sound that is very Colombian in a way always difficult to point out.
All tracks mixed by Brock Babcock except tracks 4, 10 and 12 mixed by Harvey Marin and tracks 11 and 14 mixed by Manuel Diaz.

Sismo
is a musical project based on the idea of highlighting the beauty of simplicity, making emphasis on the importance of having some kind of identity and creating musical proposals that bring out colombia's cultural values, mixed with music and sounds.
Sismo was created by Manuel Ignacio Díaz, Álvaro José Buendía and Andrés Velásquez, the three of them musicians, composers and project interpreters. Later on, Juan Andrés Rodríguez and Carlos Andrés Rico, became a members of the band.
