Perceptions

I wonder how many of us make the decision to be a winner. We hear of athletes doing it, of how they focus on their goals and reach them, but there are some who say, "Oh well, I'll never win; I have never been lucky." Then comes that old subconscious mind fulfilling its task, finding every which way of how not to be lucky and how not to win. On the other hand, if we tell ourselves "I am a winner", then that same subconscious activity comes into play and shows us every which way we can achieve a win. Now the winning may be small to start with, as you come to terms with your new way of thinking. The key is to stay focused on your dream and not allow any negative programming of your own, nor other people's negative remarks to halt the process and set you spiraling back down to the ................. "I Never Land" Now why am I telling you this? The reason I am telling you is that I spent too much time in the "I Never Land" myself, and I reckoned, "Well, if I got myself in there, then I must be able to find my way out!" Believe me, folks, there is a way out - and it was much easier than I imagined. I don't know about you, but I am choosing to be a winner Now, we all have choices, and our responses to those choices depend on how much we know about any given situation. We need good information. Misinformation can cause undesirable outcomes, no matter what choice we make. I call this the learning curve. We need to focus on the positive. I have always said "From a negative, comes a positive", and this helps us grow into our potential and become the winners we truly are.
