About me:

[sister vanilla website] Sister Vanilla is the project of Linda Reid, sister of the brothers Reid (the Jesus and Mary Chain, Freeheat, Lazycame). Linda was born in 1971, the year that the Reid household bought their first record player. Linda is chatty and bubbly and not a bit moody like her brothers. Her music is like a female-fronted Mary Chain and both her brothers play on the album (called Little Pop Rock).
please note - i am not the real "sister vanilla" - this is fan-site, although i will use it to promote any of her activities!

NEW ALBUM RELEASE for 2007! [MORE INFORMATION HERE] ...and it's just gets better: this is now old news: "As widely reported in various music sources, rock Legends The Jesus And Mary Chain will be reuniting for a performance at the 2007 Coachella Festival in Indio, California on April 27-29. It has confirmed that Jim and William Reid will indeed be on board for the show with Phil King (ex Lush, Munki period JAMC, Jim Reid guitarist) most likely taking on second guitar. The official band line-up has not been set, check back for more details. The Jesus And Mary Chain will perform on Friday April 27 along with Bjork, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, and more.
