The IQP is an organisation being developed to invigorate the Catholic Church at local level. To bring the local parishes in consort with the initiatives coming from the Holy See.

A snapshot of the aims would be to promote workshops teaching the faith and defence of the Church, hospitality evenings, 21st century custom built parish centres (to be 'schools of prayer' rather than secular style community centres), vigorous promotion for vocations to the religious life, Gregorian Chant choirs, prayer gardens and re-building of monasteries, refreshing written materials and use made of the visual media (such as free DVDs on various inspiring topics). We need an anti-defamation league to set straight the incorrect and sometimes unpleasant things said and printed about us.

All the above must be done to a professional standard and with an aim towards excellence.

The nutshell of the above is the creation of a strong Catholic identity. Tradition is not something pulling us backwards but a board that propells us into the future. Catholics are like lambs that need feeding and the whole world is in a place that needs us strong enough to give what is vitally needed. I hope it goes without saying that Christian unity is also vital to the future. The linear perspective we have now cannot work. Where we can only unite if we are the same. We must advocate a cyclical unity where the Mother Church sits in the middle with all the Sister Churches around her. The Holy Father talked of 'Unity in multiplicity' which, to us, brings great hope with it's wisdom.

I hope you will join us with your prayers. When it is complete and we have the money to launch properly we will put up the 12 principles of the IQP and take it from there.

Our motto is that of Pope Pius X11 'Opus Iustitia Pax' 'Peace comes through Justice'. Our Lady at Fatima spoke of a 'Great Return' to God. This process is borne out through history (like after the French Revolution when people returned to the Church is droves). When the great wall of prejudice comes down and people feel the inner stir to come to the Church they will (God's will provided) find a place of peace and family atmosphere where the community knows the faith and is proud of it's history.

People will find their true home.

    God bless you,

    Sr K

About me:

Hello my dear friends. I wish you well.....

The journey of my life has been long and full of twists and turns. I began life in the early 1960s the only child of celebrity parents. War was over and london was swinging and ready to party. My mother was a 1950s movie starlet,as cold and hard as the sharp edge of a diamond.

http://www.picturegoer.net/AnneAubreyApr59.htm

My father was a brooding actor who still makes a living playing the bad guy.

http://www.derrennesbitt.co.uk/

My grandfather and great uncle were a comedy double act in the old music hall. My grandmother had been a chorus line dancer. They all had beauty, wealth and fame - all that the world thinks of as valuable.

The outside of my life glittered and shone with all the exiting trinkets the world had to offer. I experienced different countries, met famous interesting people and was showered with gifts.

I was always rather an odd child. My ancestry had been Russian Jewish, many of them rabbi’s. I was born a tiny rabbi with squiffy bunches in my hair and more questions than they turned out to be answers.

But, dear friends, the inner part of my childhood was very different. Over the years I endured a childhood so dark I did not think happiness or even contentment would ever be possible. I experienced much including violence, divorce, sexual and emotional abuse and at 14 ended up living rough on the streets of London.

After Institutional Care and the drugs and booze lifestyle that followed. (I can party, friends. Trust me, I can party)I met a guy in a pub and fell in love. Truly, madly, deeply in love. I showered all my need (and, as you can imagine, that need was considerable)on to this relationship. I had no idea. Never having been loved and believing myself worthless, I had no idea how to have a relationship. I was just a sad whirlwind of blonde, crazy, party, druggy need. As I didn't know my arse from my uterus, I got pregnant. It was then I discovered that I had invested a whole life in this man. I wanted to marry him, have his children, nurse him through man-flu. The whole kit and kabammy. He, I swiftly discovered, just wanted a shag. I was right royally dumped.

So, friends, I found myself alone, pregnant, homeless, unqualified and with no family or husband. I wanted to die (not for the first time) but 6 months later when I looked into my daughter's eyes and she looked into mine the notorious party girl found herself saying, "Don't cry darling mummy's here". I had discovered one of life's great truths: love is stronger than death. So, the party girl that no one loved or cared about had been transformed in an instant. I made a decision. I would live and do everything in my power to raise this poor child. She would grow up without magazine editorial beauty, wealth and fame. But she would be loved. She would be truly loved.

As for me, friends, I fought back against the abuse of my childhood and the pain which wracked every part of my soul. I searched. I shook my fist at the heavens and demanded to know how to go from a frightened, victimised child to a strong, happy woman. One day, many decades after the fight back began, my wish was granted. I was then called and entered a Roman Catholic Religious Order and spent 6 years studying in their novitiate. I also studied Christian Theology at University.

My daughter is now 23 and the light and joy of my life. I thank God for the blessing she is every day.

I write this blog in the hope - in the genuine hope - that something I say may be of use to you in your journey.

May God bless you.

    My dear friends

Thank you so much for your lovely words and pictures. Would like very much to reply to you all personally, but a little like Monty Python's parrot at the mo (ok, slightly better than that!)

A friend who is very dear to my heart and a very talented painter did a beautiful thing for me and has painted the Vatican for me as a gift. Then we have had loads of argie-bargie getting it delivered (still not here. Would you believe these people? Hummph). I was so worried that it was lost I wrote a poem lol. I only write poetry when VERY worried so there you are! Do drop by and take a peek at it if you're not busy. It is only short and dedicated to those of us who stuff up our brains v the world of the cat.

Some of you know I have been working on a blog on Sacred Scripture. I already took a whole section out (the blog 'Living Truth') and now I realise that more has to be taken out and blogged. I 'rested' it for a while and then it came to me. Anyway, when I am better I will blog out the first bit. I hope you will approve of it when I have finished.

For a while I got a right royal bashing by certain of the MySpace folk. One chap said he was going to 'take us out' (Christians) one by one. Well, he has not succeeded in taking me out. More determined/stubborn than that lol.

I would like to welcome warmly all the new people whatever your beliefs -or none. I am sure I have the cuddliest, most splendid friends list in the world, so very glad you could join us.

God bless you all. I pray for my friends all the time. I would like to give a special mention of love to my American friends on the occasion of their Thanksgiving. A thousand blessings, dear ones.

    Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos

    We Thank Thee Lord
    With hearts filled with gratitude,
we thank You, Lord our God,
for gifting us with good friends.
We are grateful for all those persons in our lives
who have chosen us to be their friends
for truly this is a rich and sacred trust.
    Be the sacrament of friendship,
we share our mutual journeys to you,
Sour of All Love and Life.
In sharing, we find our happiness expanded
    and our sorrow lightened,
and, for this blessing, we are grateful.
    We prayerfully rejoice
that Your Son, Jesus, has called each of us
    from the position of servants
to the honor of being His friends.
Blessed are You, God of Unity,
for entering our lives through friendship.
Make us, we pray, worthy of such a gift

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

    A especial star...
Above the clouds there is a star
A star that looks down on me
A star that I makes my wishes shine
A star that brightens my path
A star that enlightens my world
A star that makes me feel loved
A star that makes me dreams come true
A star that breaks my loneliness
A star that makes me smile
A star that I up to and not down on
A star that protects me from my enemies
A star that brings my bliss and hope
A star that sticks to its promises
A star that supports me take me as I am
A star that never fades away...
A star that will live with me forever and ever.....

Captain Jack walked over to port side.

Far off the sea and sky form a seam.

The quarter moon signaled a neap tide.

The captain looked for hope in a beam.

Suddenly a light shone through darkness!

And the captain now knew what to do.

“Just follow the light through the blackness

and we’ll be home,” he said to the crew.
