I only watch movies, not that they are free from images and music. Even though it was free, i got rid of the cable. I USED TO NOT allow my children to watch TV except videos and some PBS that I usually watch WITH THEM. (It's a big commitment, but it CAN be accomplished if the parents are willing to fill that time with other activites. Children who gave up TV reported much more reading, sports, outdoor activities, and arts and crafts, just to name a few.) BUT NOW THAT WE MOVED N2 OUR HOUSE I THREW THE TV OUT. We read, homeschool and use the internet. My fave movies are Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Yentil, Amistad, Ever After, Mists of Avalon, Hero & more. >>>*<<<<***!*** !*******The clip below is my ALL TIME fave movie scene...she just jumps off the cliff! I was embarrassed that I had to look up some of those words:( Some of my favorite authors are Steinbeck, Ray Bradbury, Piers Anthony, Steven King, Henry David Thoreau, and Edgar Allen Poe. I like fiction; fantasy, sci-fi,classics,biographies and non-fiction. There's few books I have met i didnt like.

People with good intentions who follow through with actions but are too humble to admit how good they are, and those ppl who will do for me what I would do for them and want for me what they want for themselves. I memorized this verse in Arabic on accident b/c i played it over and over from the tapes lent to me. They had the English translation as well and it just struck me. Here was everything I ever thought about God, with such eloquence! Incidentally this is the first part of the Quran I memorized before any other i think except Ihklas. It's exhasperating when people try to debate the Bible with me when I know it and they refuse to accept what's in their own book!+they have not read any other 'sacred' scripts or learned about ANY other religions, or read MY BOOK. In order to have an intelligent discussion or valid debate you have to know both sides. How can you analyze or make informed conclusions when you rely on conjecture instead of going right the source? I admit I have little patience with ignorance, i think that's age,lol. I CAN be stubborn. I seek refuge in Allah from my faults & ask for His help and forgiveness. I WAS TERRIBLY SHOCKED when I found my body still laying on my bed
while I am there standing with them in the room , I looked at myself
and wondered : who is that and who is me ?
how am I here and there ?
My dad's voice broke my shock saying : Both of them are fine , let's go back to sleep ,
My mum replied : wait , I want to check on Mohamed
and I found her getting close to my bed.
looking at me or that one who looks like me laying on my bed. putting her hands on my or his arms calling : Mohamed , Mohamed
but he has not replied , so I was like , MOTHER here I AM this is ME Mohamed
She started to move him screaming : MOHAMED , MOHAMED
she was screaming and crying : MOHAMED : MOHAMED
So I ran to her , and I started crying as she was crying telling her :
I am here mother , answer me mother , I am here
I cried and told her : Mum don't cry I am here
My dad ran to my bed and put his hands on the (me) laying on the bed to check the pulse,
I was hurt to find my dad starting to cry as well
The crying increases and I don't know what to do
My young brother woke up and asked what was going on
My mother replied screaming :
YOUR BROTHER DIED AHMAD
DIED ?????
I Cried: MOTHER I haven't died , I swear I haven't died , don't you see me mother ? MOTHER.......
I am here look at mee , dont you hear me ??
But with no hope..
I raised my hands to pray to allah but I found nothing above us
I saw people who didnt look like humans , I felt great PAIN
I looked at my brother to see him screaming and yelling and my mum
crying with my dad. I stood infront of him shocked and unable to do
anything.
I raised my hands to the sky and said : ALLAH , what is happening ALLAH ...
I woke up suddenly , a strange and very strong light in my eyes , I wondered abt it and where it came from ,
I was surprised that it was dark at 3AM and that the room's light was off, and I wondered about the srong light's source.
I was surprised that I could get my hand through the wall next to me , I was frightened how this was happening .
I got out of my bed and ran to my mum's room , I sat beside her bed and
started to wake her up and call her : mum , mum , but she did not
respond to me so I started to nudge her but still she was not
responding as if I do nothing.
I started to be terrified and I started to raise my voice , MOTHER
MOTHER , I screamed , but with no hope and I asked myself , has she
died ?!
As I imagine that she might have died , she suddenly woke up as if from
a nightmare , she was very frightened looking left and right , I cried
and said : Mum , I am here
but she didn't respond
Mum , don't you see me ?
Mummm
I kept on calling her
MUM
MUM
She was putting her hand on her chest to calm herself down saying : In
the name of allah the most graceful the most merciful. then she turned
to my dad beside her and started to wake him up , he answered : YES
She said : I want to go and check on my son in his room
He said : Don't worry he must be ok , go back to sleep.
She said : I am very worried , I feel very bad and I feel there is something very bad ,
I was shocked looking at her
I said MOTHER MOTHER , I AM HERE , DONT YOU SEE ME MUM ?
So she got up and was walking to my room , I tried to catch her or
touch her but couldn't as if my hands are getting through her clothes
and body ,
I stood infront of her , opening my arms for her but she passed through my body
I ran after her , MOTHER MOTHER
My mum got into me and my brother's room and turned on the light
