If life is but a beach chair, where is my vacation at? Passed from father to the son, tell me the location dad? If we suppose to cruise through, why I barely make it passed? Is it cause my patience low? Im just tryna make it fast. Lord! Give me a warning, I cant see around the corner. Im suppose to be your favorite, why Im feelin like Time Warner? You watchin like Im cable, lifes suppose to be a fable, Or a fairy tale. Im feelin like a horse locked in the stable. Im prayin at the table, I cant tell if you can hear me? But I shout instead of talkin, cause you hidin like you fear me! Its blasphemous I know it. Now my tone is startin to show it. An evil seed within and my frustrations startin to grow it. Please dear Lord Im beggin! Youre too far away to reach! All I need is love and friends, and my vacation on the beach Then I think about my life. Its a blessing Im alive! Jesus knows that everybody did not live to see two five. Im healthy, and Im strong, Ive known love and Ive known hate, And besides a few rough spots, I see my life is really great. The trials I made it through, I thought I made it on my own. Like Im fighting by myself and your just posted on your throne. Like you left me all alone. Standing on my own two feet. But the footprints that I see are not the shape they're supposed to be. From a glance it looked like me, but now I see that it was He. And the figure in His arms is looking like a lifeless me. And I saw one set of prints cause it was then he carried me. But His light was just so bright I closed my eyes and went to sleep. Tears came to my eyes, when I open them, Surprise! I cant believe where I am at. I see the devil told me lies. The whole time I was complaining, He was standing right there, And He just laid me down to rest in a shiny new beach chair -Gods Favorite, Mar 2007
