This four-piece consists of semi-italian loverboy Sascha C. on the drums. He is also responsible for all percussive stuff and for programming, but, most of all, we love him for his vocals and his open-minded creative spirit.
Further, there are Nils and Shaun, who are also known as the german techno-electro outfit Königin Mutter who are well known for their pumpin beats and their pittoresque scissor-sisters-like stage appearance.
Shaun sings, plays guitars and synthesizers, further he is responsible for songwriting and programming.
Nils, who also plays guitars and keyboards, is the tech-nerd, which means he is responsible for all technical stuff, programming, beats, sequences, samples, arrangements and, of course, songwriting.
Robert plays bass, writes some of the lyrics and vocals and is further the Andrew Fletcher kinda guy, who is responsible for organisation and moderating between the excentric members of SITUATION LECLERQ.

A sweet & sweaty club night freakout with happy ending
Formed in 2004, SITUATION LECLERQ rose from the ashes of former indie/emo-band Byron, who at that time re-arranged their musical style due to artistic limitations the band members felt occuring with the music they were playing. There are a lot of musical influences including a whole range of 80s bands, 90s post punk and hardcore bands and of course recent acts from the indie/electronic/dance branch. Mixing and messing up all these influences, SITUATION LECLERQ create their very own style for sure.
When it comes to writing songs SITUATION LECLERQ find it most important to make them danceable, one of the reasons why the Byron-rock style had to be dismissed. Therefore, one of the main characteristics is the groove - ranging from simple to tricky, generated by a tasty combination of acoustic and synthetic drums always aiming at your legs yet leaving a kind of punkish lo-fi garage sound. This impression is emphasized by footloose bass grooves, often distorted but still powerful and painful to your restless head. The synth varies between deep, crackling bass-tunes and sweet melodies, leaving you begging either for more pondering, heart-shaking buzzes or high-tuned poppy hooks designed to never leave your brains again.

SITUATION LECLERQ is all about dancefloor madness without lame rock-attitudes. The audience becomes part of the band and the stage turns into a dancefloor.
SITUATION LECLERQ has played many shows across Germany and the neighboring countries.
On their way, they have played with internationally recognized acts such as ZOOT WOMAN, JEANS TEAM, MIA, RATATAT, SEACHANGE, SUNSHINE, EPOXIES,WHITEST BOY ALIVE, URLAUB IN POLEN and many many others.

Am 1. Mai 2009 wollen in Hannover Neonazis marschieren. Das Verwaltungsgericht Hannover hat zwar diese Demonstration verboten. Dennoch ist es gut möglich das Nazis nach Hannover kommen oder die Demonstration dennoch stadtfindet.
Wir rufen alle dazu auf gemeinsam mit uns friedlich und mit treibenden Beats gegen den Naziaufmarsch zu feiern.
