Sivitri is a designer of beauty, performances, spaces, people and places. She is a balancing act of grace and strength, light and dark: desiring only to portray what is truth in all that she does. Sivitri has been inquiring, creating, desiring and seeking through art, travel and connections of all kinds to attain that which is her highest, ever since she can remember. She was born and raised in Africa and has traveled to 20 countries and lived in 9 of them including places in Europe, Asia, Mexico and the US. It was written in the stars for her to find her true family and potentialize herself in places far away from where she was born, even though she has been through many lives within this one and died and been re-birthed over and over. She started classical ballet at age 4 followed by years of training in modern dance, jazz, singing and acting, performing on stages all over the world in dance companies, musical theater and film. After moving to California in 1999, she began a journey of deeper self awareness and true love of the essence of herself and HER dance, letting go of technique to improvise her way and abandon herself in musical journeys. Art and performing became a sacred expression, a prayer, a ritual of oneness, a creation meditation, dedicated to nature. She has dropped and picked up so many creative loves along her explorations, creating photographic adventure stories, splashing clothing designs with projected photographic images and utilizing musical creations to accompany the layers of ingenuity - observing and utilizing the many little messages that were objects shown to her, to create mixed media art and jewelry which became 'ancient yet contemporary, wearable art'. She has wondered along the way, why she has been doing this layered exploration and not desiring to focus on one thing, when all along voices of REASON had advised her to choose one thing. She realized that this has all magically led to a self-guided journey to embrace the myriad of abilities and visions she has had to initiate multimedia co-creations. To satiate all the senses ~ to transmit messages through movement, light, sound, and imagery. To touch, taste, see, hear and smell. To inspire beings to look in another direction, to appreciate and love the nature of what is within and around us. "I am grateful for the eye to see, the ear to hear and the heart to know". ..
