Hi. We're Buick Six. One day, someone said something nice about us:
"A suitable Wednesday night Zoo crowd greeted the opening act Buick Six. They are a Brisbane trio in a garage rock vein, they sound like they’re drawing on proto-punk influences like MC5 and some 70’s hard rock guitar. Their set was energy-packed and hghly rocking and they put forward a very impressive performance. They had their own sound and lighting guy, who for some reason made the whole set overly loud, painful for the ears in some parts, but the lighting was incredible and for the most part the set sounded brilliant. Buick Six are a great band and have a solid future. A lot of Australian groups are doing this sound at the moment but Buick Six do it a lot better than the standard."

So far, we've had the chance to play with some great bands such as: You Am I, Kisschasy, Tame Impala, Grafton Primary, British India, Sugar Army, The Fumes, The Silents, Washington, The Galvatrons, Numbers Radio, Hungry Kids of Hungary, The Dirty Secrets, Little Scout...
Our second EP, 'Common Arms', was released independently in early September 2009. Once again, we thought someone else might be able to paint a better picture of it than what we can:
"... in the vein of the classic rock trio, Buick Six have to be one of the most professional outfits around. With their rock solid wall of guitars sound, pounding drums and walloping bass included, the lads whip through a relentless set of frenzied rock that positively oozes confidence and credibility. They’re flogging a new EP and, of the new songs that make the set tonight, ‘Velvet Claps’ proves the worth of the entrance fee on its own."
