Six Degrees Of Separation were founded in 1996 as selective voluntary ensemble of doom metal sympathizers. Since then the accelerated evolution is in progress, which has so far contained fundamental changes in the line-up (which is quite normal), gradual progress towards more aggressive sound, and also brought some improvements regarding performance, song writing, and, in some cases, even instrumental abilities.
So far the band has produced two demos, "Dark Ages" and "When Autumn Comes", based on which first official record called "Moon 2002: Nocturnal Breed" had been released by Élysion. This album did manage to stir up a bit the stale waters of Czech doom scene, and in 2005 it has been followed by a record called "Triotus, Tricephalus and Tribadism", also released by Élysion. This album compared to it's predecessor seems to be more aggressive, but does not lack sufficient emotional charge, as is often mentioned in, in general positive, reviews, that often struggle to find the correct genre label for the "tri" album.
......
In two years of intensive performing the band has also appeared on more "prestigious" festivals within the genre, and also here the reactions are positive. Away from the stage there are new songs being written, and these are released in 2007 on the third official record called "Chain-Driven Sunset", again released by Élysion. The new material tries to keep the pressure of the previous album, but also it gives more focus onto emotional aspects of each song.
Now the band just started the support of the new album, and thinks about a vidoe for one of the new songs. And, such is life, new songs are starting to take shape.
Taky zdravim, dekujeme za pridani. Poslouchal jsem novy song a je to fakt brutus, posunulo se to zase nekam dal, minimalne ve zvuku, ale samozrejme i hudebne :), SUPER! Uz se tesim na koncert.
