   About Six Gallery
From Parma, Kent, and Westerville Six Gallery found each other in Athens on the hottest day of August in 2005. Beautiful chaos ensued until the creation of an even numbered band in January 06. The train is building steam in Columbus currently and will likely be tearing up the tracks (pun intended) for a duration of no less than the time equivalence of the cuteness of kittens.

In retrospect, it's about the last forty seconds that I dig the most. That's FOUR TIMES as much as my original estimate. FOUR TIMES.

A REVIEW IN THE FREE TIMES. :
Smiley Baldazar
Relax, It's Out of Control
Judging from tunes such as "Jewish Rye," "Calling All Cars" and "Meet for Breakfast," I'd hazard to guess these guys have spent some serious time listening to Primus. They do a good approximation of Les Claypool and crew on the album, which features snappy bass riffs, nasally vocals and the same kind of weird-as-fuck approach that Primus made popular in the '90s. The guitar-playing on songs such as "Fustercluck" and "Lookin Right" is tremendous, and the jazzy instrumental "Local on the 8's" shows off their musical chops. But if the band wants to distinguish itself from a slew of other like-minded jam acts, it's going to have to develop a more original sound. — Jeff Niesel
Smiley Baldazar performs with Devil Moto and the Six Gallery at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at The Winchester (12112 Madison Ave., 216.226.5681).

FINALLY OUR Second Smiley Baldazar CD: "Relax...It's Out Of Control'' will be released to the public for the first time! Support by Devil Moto and Six Gallery. Door is 5 bucks. Shirts will be $15. Just the cd is $10, but 20 bucks gets you a cd and a shirt...plus $25 gets ya 2 cds (mix and match if you like) and a shirt! What a deal!!! Doors open at 7. Then Devil Moto, a VERY intense rock group featuring Donovan from Orchard Groove on drums, from 12 to 1! Can't wait to see yas!!!!!!!!!!!!

We suggest bringing some loot cuz here goes. $5 at the door to keep us alive. 20 bucks for the cd+shirt deal! The other loot yo got should go for Six Galley and/or Devil Moto Merch. Plus, if you plan on drinkin too, bring some more loot too. We want you to treat this like your ONE BIG CONCERT ALL YEAR! We are a self-promoted, self-managed, all-original band from the Lakewood/Cleveland area that wants to help you forget about all of your bullshit for awhile by playing crazy stuff for and making you dance or zone out or whatever you have in mind!
