Formed in 2006 out of the ashes of STAND, vocalist Ben Walton and guitarist Paul Drennan released their debut album SIX HOURS in April 2006.
Produced by Darren Danielson (Roxus, Chocolate Starfish, Brill and Pseudo Echo) and Zoran Romic (Chocolate Starfish, Sugarlips) the album is a blend of intense rock and roll through to lush and tender ballads. With razor sharp guitars and big vocals, SIX HOURS self titled debut album is easy to listen to and is available at all gigs.
As a founding member of Stand, Paul Drennan released three albums and toured Australia with acts such as Alice Cooper, Collective Soul, Three Doors Down, Peter Frampton, Sweet, Suzi Quatro and many others. With his Stand bandmates he also performed lead guitar in Mike Tramp's Australian solo band for 3 years and performs with Bruce Kulick in his solo band.
Ben joined Stand in 2004 and quickly settled into his role as frontman and Rhythm Guitarist forging a solid writing partnership with Paul. The two penned a large and varied bunch of new tunes for Stand pushing new sounds and styles into the fold.
With Stand folding in early 2006, Paul and Ben entered the studio to cut the songs they had been working on with guest players including Darren and Zoran as well as Bruce Kulick adding a solo on one song. Also joining them in the studio were Tim Rosewarne and Ben Grayson ..boards to forge one hell of a huge sound. Six Hours.
The band has since been solidified with the addition of Travis Dragani on drums, who has toured with Mike Tramp and also plays in Meader, and Matt McAuliffe on bass completing the live lineup, which in 2007 supported Paul Stanley and Alice Cooper on his national tour. 2008 has seen Six Hours once again support Alice Cooper aswell as Sebastian Bach on his Angel Down tour.
