The band is made up of four singer/songwriter types that each have their own styles and multi-instrument abilities. Although Dallas tends to most of the frontman duties each member has the spotlight throughout our performances taking turns in the driver's seat This format allows for lush harmonies set to the style of good old fashioned, down home classic americana.
Dallas- Banjo, Guitar
Ed Young- Bass, Guitar
Ken G.-Lead Guitar, Bass
Fishstick-Harmonica, Guitar (that's right folks his name is FISHSTICK)
Influences
Our influencies are many, but it is obvious that we share a fondness for 1940's honky tonk mixed with some bluegrass, throw in a little blues, and add a healthy helping of folk, toss in a case of beer and you got SIX PACK CREEK. But if we had to name actual artists i suppose Cash, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Ernest Tubb, Merle Travis, Woody and Arlo Guthrie, I could go on for hours. You get the idea.
No one asks about the meaning of life while listening to Six Pack Creek; life becomes instantly manageable and enjoyable. Seriously, we make things better. War-obsessed bastards and petty pricks should be forced to sit down and enjoy a cold one while listening to Crawdad Song.
