Six Strings and a Piece of Wood on iSOUND.COM This CD is a somewhat old-fashioned attempt, reminiscent of the music of the 1980s, to create a varied and colorful album that plays with different musical styles, but still remains what we intuitively understand as the music for the acoustic guitar. Each of the nine pieces on the disc is a a world in itself and to each we gave our creative maximum. The idea was to take a walk through multiple musical landscapes, from standard rumba rhythms, through a classical approach and techno-elements, to Serbian ethno-motives. Moreover, we tried to create music that would be engaging and easy to listen to, while still subtly displaying Radomir Vasiljevic’s virtuosity and the perfectly clear sound he creates on his guitar.

RADOMIR VASILJEVIC (guitar, composing) was born in 1984 in Sombor, Serbia, where he started playing the classical guitar. After finishing basic musical education, he left for Belgrade to attend secondary musical shcool at the best Serbian professor, Srdjan Tosic. The cooperation with the professor lasted the
whole four years and continued at the Faculty, which Radomir started in 2001. He graduated at the Faculty of Musical Art in 2006. During his musical career, he has won 5 international awards, in Greece, the Chech Republic, Italy and a few times he has won some state competitions with
a special score. He has played in all important concert halls in Belgrade, and has been recorded by many TV stations in Serbia.Recently, he has become interested in another kind of music, such as flamenco, sirtaki, napolitana… ............................................................................................................................

1993-present: professional sound-engineer
1995-96: sound engineer, music production of the Radio-Television of Serbia (Serbian national broadcasting company)
1996-2008: chief sound engineer/designer, Radio Sombor, Serbia (live radio program and music production)
2000 - present: sound and music production and recording in a semi-professional home studio
Goran composed numerous music themes used in TV and radio shows and on CD-ROMs. He also composed music and created total sound design for more than 20 theater plays. Besides that, Goran created dozens of advertising sound clips, many of which included his original music and produced near 20 music recordings that were broadcast nationally on radio and TV ...................................................................................................................
