South of France is back for good thanks to a new project guided by Benoit Sixteen: TAMTRUM’s singer and co-composer!
In addition of Benoit Sixteen as the singer, guitarist and composer, the Sixteen Sinners line up is made of OILID (composer/singer of the metal-indus band A.N.A.E.L.), he plays guitar and write some liryks ; PURPLE plays synth and she write some liryks; MATHIAS plays guitar.
16 SINNERS and its Electro Porn Sound (EPS) deliver us big saturated guitars mixed with big techno beats. 16 SINNERS is influenced by metal, electro, pop music and rock’n’roll from the 70’s to the 90’s. Benoit’s way of singing is also full of variety thanks to the band’s numerous influences but the ensemble remains “in your face” and with no compromise!
In contrast of TAMTRUM’s violent image and its will to emphasize inner sickness thanks to a dark music, Benoit, with the help of his pervert gang, wants to break nowadays taboos spread by mass culture and which influence our perceptions of LOVE, SEX and CHAOS. Sixteen Sinners is an invitation to live a new experience which is at the same time sincere and rock n roll!

TAMBOUR BATTANT « Missing Link » Album Cd dans les bacs. Ozore age > Vision Alternative < Play It Again Sam
TAMBOUR BATTANT, une forme plurielle de Breakbeats (drum & bass, hip hop, dancehall …), délivre un album intéressant, « The Missing Link » artisanal, dynamique et contemporain.
Tambour Battant : Ben et Nico n’auraient pas pu mieux choisir leur nom. Tous deux batteurs de formation, les lignes Tambour Battant s’épanouit ici dans une forme plurielle de Breakbeats. « The Missing Link » fait la synthèse de quatre années de lives. Bien sûr, on retrouve leur morceau étendard « Atomik Circus », mais soigneusement remixé par leurs soins, pour pimenter le plaisir de cet évident rdv. À contrario du format vinyle, le duo a resserré la durée des morceaux pour faciliter l’accessibilité et le confort d’une écoute « à la maison ». En ressort une forte impression de relief : lignes mélodiques (le duo reste impressionné par les tissages mélodiques de Radiohead) et additions de gimmicks. Un flux d’émotions aux variations tenaces, empruntes de légèreté, de clins d’oeil et même d’humour En 17 morceaux, Tambour Battant sort donc des figures de style qu’impose « une Drum & Bass trop puriste », en conservant le meilleur de son efficacité et de sa rythmique frontale.
