First record I ever bought as a kid was an ex-jukebox 45 by David Bowie. Soon punk came along and I got addicted to going to gigs. Through punk and the RAR and ANL gigs I soon found reggae after seeing Misty In Roots and Steel Pulse. After that the Ska and 2-Tone scene was inevitable and that lead back to reggae and now more than ever I'm finding dubwise selections are what make me happiest. I have been lucky enough to see many of the foremost reggae artists including Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott, Gregory Isaacs, and been shaken up by some of the best sound systems including Jah Shaka at the Rocket and the Tabernacle. After spending the whole afternoon at Aba Shanti-I sound system at carnival this year, I'm feelin it more than ever...Movies
