SIZEN

Originally Formed in October 2002 & re-formed as the final line up of strength in July 2008, SIZEN deal in hefty grooves, sledge hammer riffs and mammoth melodies. Distinctly different from the identikit emo-popsters that proliferate today, this UK quartet have drawn inspiration from the band's they grew up loving - from Metallica to Soundgarden to Rage Against The Machine.

But this is no nostalgic trip - Sizen have simply put song writing at the very centre of their existence, and 'What Do You See' demonstrates just how serious they are about bringing rock music kicking and screaming into the new millennium.

Produced by Joe Gibb (Funeral for a Friend, Million Dead, Brigade) at Mighty Atom Studios, the quartet have already been garnering support from all corners. Even Rick Wakeman highlighted them as 'Ones To Watch' on his Planet Rock radio show!!!

The album 'What Do you See?' is nine tracks of honed and incisive metal. From the nu-grunge sludge of 'Not The Same' to the head down groove of 'Asylum' it rockets through its 50 minute run time with barely a pause for breath.

Outside the music the members of SIZEN have some interesting back stories. Indeed, there's little doubt that in guitarist Dudley Ross, SIZEN have a true character. In addition to his six-string duties, the hulking lad is a Linbacker for Great Britain Lions American Football team and captain of the East Kent Mavericks! He is also endorsed by Vigier Guitars and WKZ Amplification, no doubt in no small part due to his sterling work with SIZEN!

Bass Player Dan Smith is also well known in the music community. He builds custom guitars and basses from scratch to a much appreciated ever growing collection of musicians from all over.

This is all icing on the cake! What SIZEN bring to the party is a love of song based, intense rock and metal.

And you can't say fairer than that!!!!
