Hakkımda: Everything looks better from the seat of a bike. You can feel the wind on your face, the rhythm of the ground in your legs, you can feel your heart pumping, and the energy of your surroundings encompassing your body. On a bicycle, you can see the city, talk to strangers, escape the insulated bubbles of cars and feel free from the confines of cubicles. A bicycle is freedom, a bicycle is friendly, and a bicycle is life.
San Jose is the largest city in Northern California, but we are hidden in the suburban sprawl. It’s time to reclaim the South Bay, ride the streets, and make this place the active and exciting city we want it to be.
San Jose Bike Party is a place to ride bikes, make friends, and have a good time.
We meet the third Friday of each month at a rotating location at 8:00pm.
Kimle tanışmak isterim: Anyone who rides a bicycle.
Fixed gear, cruisers, roadies, junk out of the trash, big baskets, fold up bicycles, bmx, those amazing low rider bicycles, trikes, anything but a motor is welcome! We will even tolerate those of you in Lycra...
How we ride
1. Stay in the right lane when possible. NEVER ride the sidewalk. NEVER ride against oncoming traffic.
2. Pick up your trash, leave nothing behind.
3. Stop at red lights.
4. Ride straight, ride predictability.
5. Roll past conflict.
6. Leave no one behind.
7. Ride sober! It’s illegal and dangerous to drink and ride a bicycle.
8. Make some noise! (we need your help to remind those who aren’t following the rules!)
If you are interested in helping the ride, visit our volunteer form: http://www.sjbikeparty.org/who-we-are
**Please note San Jose Bike Party does not add bands nor non-local businesses**
Iguanas Burritozilla is giving a discount to anyone who mentions that they were at bike party...how do i know this....I work there :) gooooo biiiiiike paaaartyyyyy
the bike party was sick as usual but the route was kind of bad because there was hardly any quickie marts, 7/11's or any stores that had water and could you possibly put water stations at the rest stops and maybe change the route back to how the no pants paty route was at dicks it was alot better than this one no offense please
Hi, My name is Diana Nguyen from San Jose & my custom, navy colored Dahon Speed D7 ( (http://www.dahon.com/us/speedd7.htm) was stolen in front of The Fairmont right after the July 17th No Pants Ride.
I've filed a police report and would appreciate your set of eyes to help me look for the bike.
I've emailed SJ Bike Party & they said that most of the time, these stolen bikes are sold at the flea market. So if you spot it, please give me a ring.

Bike Party is getting HUGE!! All the more reason to follow the rules of the road, be courteous to your fellow bikers and not encourage drama!! Everyone needs to do their part to keep the party going ;-)
i must agree with mr brown right below me. i think its due to a shitload more people coming out every month. i think 500 people were at my first ride.
