About me:

Cold Chillin' Tuesdays at the newly renovated Jack's Bar & Lounge is gaining ground as a fresh alternative to San Jose's downtown bar/club scene. It offers something for anyone who dislikes dress codes, generic music and aggressive crowds. The Cold Chillin' Crew combines an eclectic music selection with live visuals, and of course, drink specials. Music is provided by DJs who spin everything from Mary Wells to Serge Gainsbourg, Biz Markie to Bowie--and everything good in between. The music is complemented by live projections that add ambience to the bar's cozy layout, and there's absolutely no cover. The event typically happens on Tuesday nights every three weeks or so (check local record stores, boutiques, bars and other downtown locales for fliers and posters). -San Jose Metro
