Artist Statement I have been making images for years now. I believe the best images are the ones that make the everyday something to stop and admire. We all see the sunset , but how many of us stop and enjoy the many colours you see as the sky graduates from bright blue to dark purple to black. From the fall landscapes of Algonquin Park to the shape and patterns projected by a spinning Ferris Wheel against a night sky. To the motion of a passing train, the pattern rust makes on old vehicles or just the calm and peace of a cemetery. I have to stop and take it in. Through my lens I invite everyone to see what I see. I hope they are as enthralled by it as I am.
