"The music industry would be at a loss without British record producer John Leckie. Since he began his career in 1970 at Abbey Rd Studios as an in-house engineer, he has gone on to produce pioneering acts ranging through the likes of Radiohead (The Bends), The Stone Roses (The Stone Roses), Muse (Showbiz), Verve (A Storm in Heaven), Ride (Carnival of Light) and My Morning Jacket (Z). All of these albums have had a cult following, every success marked by the intrinsic individual sound of each band."- The Skinny Magazine. May 2009

"Funny how quickly you become absolutely committed to something you just "thought". That day was it, the healthy members of the band went on their own to work with Laurie, who was a genius as it turned out......."- Tony Wilson, 'Factory Records'
Ron Saint Germain (311, Tool. Soundgarden)
Over Ron's 38 years of producing he has earned over 60 Gold and Platinum Disc awards including four “Diamond Platinum" (10 million +) awards with sales on the (+) side of a quarter of a billion units. He has participated as either a producer, engineer, and/or mixer on 18 Grammy nominated projects garnering 12 winners (for the Artists).
Chris Brown (Starsailor, The Beatles Anthologies)

FAQs
Do your producers work with unsigned bands?
Yes, your band doesn’t necessarily need to be signed to a record label or music publisher to work with our producers. All we ask is that you have a recording budget to work with (unfortunately, nothing comes for free in this world!). We’ve delivered professional recordings to numerous self-financed bands in the past on tight budgets...

I hope this isn't bad etiquette- I am not used to modernity, which may not surprise JOHN LECKIE
Hello John
I wanted to say hi again, I am a producer now myself, I had to learn to do it properly, which was the best thing you could have made me do!
I did send a message here a while back asking your friends to say hello to you on my behalf, I hope they wont mind me saying hello to you here.
Did you get to hear my LP? You are welcome to a copy, I would be most interested to hear your observations. I played all and produced England's Dreaming Spires-on my own label. Its a 60s job. Had a lot of fun doing it, now I am recording the very early songs, the ones which you liked, with real drums this time! We are working in a church hall, with valves and ribbomn mikes,(and a 1961 drum kit) I really like the sound we are getting. It is tremendously gratifying to produce, and always a challenge. I have a myspace and a website- villagegreenmachine.com/, with music to hear.
