About me:
I started playing drums at 14 with my school band (paragon school, se london se 1 )influenced by former joe jackson guitarist (gary sandford who was a music teacher at my school)and formed first covers band, 'blue diamond' with fellow school mates 'derek henshaw'(vocals) and 'matt maflin'(guitar). keyboard player 'kevin peach' was brought in to replace 'matt maflin' and vocalist 'alan fitzgerald' was enlisted after 'derek henshaw' switched to guitar, the group rehearsed at the 'marble factory project'in walworth se london,i also studied percussion, around this time, at goldsmiths college along with my friend'gary wallis' of(pink floyd fame)the band soon evolved into 'traveller' after the addition of bass player 'chris ellen' & guitarist,'oz martin' joined,when this line up had run its course 'steve johnston' and 'kevin peach' joined forces with vocalist 'terry tillier' bassist 'darren juniper' and lead guitarist 'roger glynne'(ex dogwatch)the pinacle of this line up, supported 'osibisa' @ hayes stadium 1991.in 2001 I joined local (bermondsey) a o r band 'paradise on purple'the band recorded 2 albums, 1 single,2videos,untill 2003 when i joined forces with fellow purple guitarist 'matt black'to record the single's 'were gonna rock'and'try'.
