SK123, is a UK based ambient, electronica and techno artist.
I started creating tunes in the summer of 2000 with the release of the noise fest that was 'BugHead'. 'Progressive Ambient Works' a downtempo, ambient and slightly repetitive collection of tracks pushed the development further.
'Cheese Sandwich' followed, sometimes funky, sometimes aggressive but mainly an improvement on early tunes.
'Shuffle' and a large number of unreleased tracks that never saw the light of day occupied the years 2002 - 2004
A studio clearout, and a new Korg resulted in 'Everything Looks Better With A Blue LED' in 2005
2006 was a very busy year though, it started with 'Restart, Reload, Active', quickly followed by '...and at the end of it you get a bike'.
Finally in 2006 I finished a project called Zeolites, which cover a wide range of electronica styles from IDM to Techno to Dub.
2007 has started quickly with the release of Soundwave, a tripped out Techno, Ambient and Glitch influenced long player.
As well as Claytrack, a collaboration for SK123 and Wayne D'Mellow.
Recently signed to Fruit Soup records, with the Debut release coming in 2008, titled 'Skizm'. More to follow.....

Hey how's it going? I wanted to let you know about the new experimental hip-hop/electronic EP i just dropped on Lab Beat UK!
HipGnosis's first release on Lab Beat, a label out of Cambridge UK specializing in "deservedly fashionable, relentlessly sideways electronic music, also known as glitch hop, IDM and jungle."
The album is titled Scientific Illuminism (Is For Sissies), and is available as an exclusive Juno Download until May 8.
From the Lab Beat page:
With his deliciously clinical, woozy, bassy instrumental "Scientific Illuminism (Is For Sissies)," HipGnosis embarks in a different direction, more usually working with some remarkable vocalists, to fit their visions together.
With this outing, HipGnosis stretches into new territory, incorporating elements of glitch, drum n bass, ambient, and ever more experimental sounds. It is a continuous-mix, nonstop head-nodding, mind-blowing journey from beginning to end. Get it now exclusively through Juno Downloads. The album will be hitting iTunes and other major digital distribution points on May 8. Thanks for your support!

[PLANET007] B1t Crunch3r, Adapt & Phonetic System - The Travelogue EP
Tracklist:
1. B1t Crunch3r & Adapt - House of Ophiuchus 2. B1t Crunch3r & Phonetic System - Replicators 3. B1t Crunch3r & Adapt - Foresight VIP 4. B1t Crunch3r - Night Creatures
Details:
The Travelogue EP was assembled by Hollywood producer B1t Crunch3r, who has had releases on Take 5 Music and Substruk Recordings. Featuring two collaborations, a VIP and a solo effort, the EP is a net project between B1t Crunch3r (California, USA), Adapt (North Carolina, USA) and Phonetic System (Sydney, Australia).
Comparisons to Scuba and Quantum Soul seem pretty appropriate here, especially for opener 'House of Ophiuchus', a track that hinges on a lilting sitar line and heavy bass. Meanwhile, the atmospheric 'Night Creatures' lies at the other end of this EP's wide spectrum. Expect more from these producers.
1. Born (4:33) 2. The Secret Garden (5:49) 3. Madeena Luithea (4:28) 4. When Night Falls (4:46)
Details:
Probably the most established artist to work with us so far, Barbarix has had releases on Belgian netlabel Entity and the infamous Brighton-based Net-Lab, as well as loads of attention from Mary Anne Hobbs, Nerm, Nihal and Bobby Friction of Radio 1 fame.
The Mystics EP is a significant departure from some of his more pounding creations, a relaxing and atmospheric affair best suited to lying in a darkened room or roaming through mystic wooded areas, climaxing with the glorious 'When Night Falls'. Clear yourself some headspace and bathe in the warming talent of Barbarix.
