Not A Chance is a politically charged punk/ska act out of Orange County, California. Through out the years the band has gone through many changes with members and styles meshing each band members variety of eclectic music influences and ideas with song styles ranging from 2 tone ska, ska-core, punk, hardcore, to early grunge. The band's composed lyrics address political inequalities such as the lack of economic distrubution, current conflicts in Iraq and anti-racism action issues that need to be brought to the forefront of our society.Some lyrics address the ever-colapsing ska scene and how a culture that had once prided its working class roots and Rude Boy/Skin head attitude now is nothing more than pop music with upstrokes and horns.
