Music with groove. Matthew likes jazz and improvised music. Bevan likes Tchad Blake. We also like The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Police, The Animal Collective, The Chills, Deerhunter, Henry Kaiser, Aphex Twin, Chain Reaction/Basic Channel, Bill Frisell, Red House Painters, Max Tundra, Robert Wyatt, Robyn Hitchcock, Low, The Ruby Suns, The Reduction Agents, Squarepusher, Signer, Over the Atlantic some Doomy Death stuff and other shit like this list.
Sounds Like
Good music, Robert Wyatt, Syd Barrett, The Beatles, Neil Young, Crosby Stills Nash and Young. At times some more proggy stuff, the soundguy would say "Pink Floyd" hehe. Flying Saucer Attack, hmm nah. Robyn Hitchcock, The Soft Boys, Elliot Smith, This Heat, Rhythm and Sound, The Gourndhogs, The Police. The Police some more. well we don't really sound like The Police, we just really like them. Sorry for the confusion.
Believe in the future? Enjoy the green apples more than the red? Spend hours with your nose in the newspaper dreaming of a better world? Remember what it was like to dream of being a sports superstar? Think you know better than mapquest? Have a close relationship with shovels and spades? Hate more than 99% of new experiences? Wish you could find the right drugs?
Hey thanks for adding me!! I think your music is freakin' awesome!! You guys should tour the usa and come through Portland, Oregon. That would be freakin' radical!! Peace Out and Rock On!!

Mr. and Mr. Skallander... I love your album a lot - just received it this morning, with no postmark and a British stamp?? How did that happen - maybe you have friend in England who has a secret supply? Anyway, I instantly liked it....I love the vox and the harmonies - so Beach Boys a la Pet Sounds in places, and Art Garfunkel, with that understated beauty, and I like the way it doesn't do what you expect it to do...always a good sign in my book. Also, beautiful packaging...Thank you so much, and if you're ever playing in England let us know!
EXCELLENT STUFF INDEED!!! "time is only a rev." has a wonderful chord progression, and it should go on endlessly! Keep up your great (& distant!) work... Thanx again - Best, a.m.
