Skallbrand was formed in late 2005 by Josef and Joel who had played together for some years in the punk band Quilpish and later on in some projects that didn’t went anywhere because of the lack of rehearsal areas and band members.
Somewhere after New Year 2006 the guitarist Erik (ex-Magistrators) joined up and later on Morgan, who also played in some local Metal bands, joined on bass. In May the same year Skallbrand recorded their first demo ”Mad man’s rumble”, that totally was a D.I.Y-production.
Our first gig took place on a trailer at a square in Kristianstad the eight of July, and to be the first one it was a great success, (not the sound though). So long Skallbrand have had some gigs in skåne, for example one at “Barbackarock” in kristianstad that was fucking overfilled with people.
In the end of November 2006 Morgan dropped out of the band and is now replaced with Josef’s brother Adde.
our second demo “Welcome to the nuclear suicide” was released in the sping of 2007 and has got good rewievs so long.

Hej myspace-vän! Vi släpper vårt andra album ”The End of Quaint” 8 oktober 2008. På vår sida finns nu bland annat kärlekslåten ”You Will Burn” och indiediscodängan ”Shaker” att njuta av i höstrusket. Gör det så ses vi en bit längre ner på vägen!
