SKAM are a Flick Rock band from The Midlands, Their unique Flick rock genre is a blend of classic British rock with elements of punk and Heavy Metal that will have your finger pointing and your head banging.
With over 250 gigs under their belt, playing in every major city in the UK, SKAM have become a professional and experienced band they inject energy and pure rock into every show they play.
These guys Rock hard, and you would be mistaken for thinking there was more than 3 of them.
The backline is solid combining the talents of the Viking, on Bass and X-Ray on drums. This allows Steve “Rock Ninja” Hill to be what a front man should be, Confident and fluent in the language of Rock he commands attention for his band and the music they play.
Each member of the band has a different personality on stage and the overall stage presence gives you no choice but to take notice.
They have been compared to such Greats as The Foo Fighters, Therapy? And AC/DC and have rocked the same stages as Blaze Bayley, The Wildhearts and Viking Skull.
Grab your Helmet, raise your Goblet of rock and join the Flick rock invasion!
"if you catch one unsigned band this year make sure its SKAM.... They wont be unsigned for long!"
Glastonbudget 2008
"When they crank it up, Skam throb liked a slapped cock"
Carl J Leicesterbangs.co.uk
"These 3 guys really rock and everyone will love their shows."
Arts in Leicester.
"To the uninitiated Flick Rock seems to mean heavy, urgent, melodic guitar driven Rock, all performed with attitude and charisma"
There were some rumours that the X-Ray had died in a house fire... But it's ok, he was saved by a four year old girl. And also the fire could not detroy his snare drum, that's how bad ass Premier drums used to be. So both X-Ray and the snare drum will be at the Harrow tonight, so the least you could do is go as well.
