Travel, Swing dancing/lindy hop, Ben :), Theater, movies, physical therapy, finance and real estate, New York City, trying different foods and restaurants, Hawaii, Seattle, Paris (not in any particular order except for Ben and travel!) Also recently home improvement stores since we have to re-model our kitchen.
Music
I'm very partial to swing, but open to anything with a good beat. Recently went to a house party where old school funk and soul was DJ'd and realized I"m an old schooler at heart.
Movies
When Harry Met Sally, Goonies, Joy Luck Club, Finding Nemo, Dead Again, The Game, Long Kiss Goodnight, Shawshank Redemption, The Princess Bride, Legally Blonde, Shall we dance (Japanese version), Singing in the Rain (especially since it's Ben's favorite), Amelie, Anne of Green Gables, Old Yeller, Swiss Family Robinson (I know...I'm a sucker for old school Disney movies)! Star Wars (not the new ones), Indiana Jones, have lots more....but in all I just like movies to make me feel good and inspired...recently...March of the Penguins, Like Mike, Honey, Whale Rider, Miracle, movies with Ashley Judd kicking butt!
Television
Don't really watch TV because we don't have cable!!! Yes...we are living in the stone age. I do like watching TV series on DVD...right now I am hooked on The West Wing (thanks Chi!). Other than that Law & Order, Friends, Will and Grace, and I loved the Firefly series...soooo sad it was cancelled!
Books
Last read the Da Vinci code, said I was reading Angels and Demons...but I just haven't had time to do any leisure reading so it's still on my nightstand...the little time I do have...I honestly just like to flip through mindless gossip magazines! :) I usually love suspense novels and am drawn to a lot self-help/exploration books...The Art of Happiness, What color is your parachute, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Who Moved My Cheese, The Millionnaire Next Door, Home Decorating! I've been thinking about reading more history books...got any recommendations?
Who I'd like to meet: God - b/c that means I went to the right place! While there I'd like to meet my ancestors. Also...some independently successful women who are raising a family...Reese Witherspoon and Madonna come to mind right now. I'd like to meet lots of people and experience different cultures/backgrounds...which is especially why I love to travel! Thanks recently to Kate and Bella, I just remembered a few others I'd like to "meet"...Kristin Chenoweth and her character Annabeth Schott in the West Wing, Ainsley Hayes and CJ Cregg...what incredibly saucy intelligent women characters!
