Skarlet Blue was co-founded by lead guitarist/vocalist Anthony Salce and
keyboardist/backing vocalist Adrian Perri.
In 2006 Bassist, Ryan Di Cecco was introduced, providing a strong backbone
to Skarlet Blue's music while adding energy and power to the live shows. As
they continued to write a strong Catalogue of catchy pop/rock tunes "It
Feels Like..." was included on the "Coca-cola Live 'n Local" compilation
that year.
In 2007, they recorded their debut album titled "HEADLIGHTS," with only so
many units pressed, this took Skarlet Blue to the next level on a Melbourne
and International Level which created credited recognition from people all
over the world. An independent American film grabbed three of SkarletBlue's
songs to use in their film before the album was even mastered.
The Start of 2008 brought exciting news to the band with the addition of
Rock Powerhouse drummer Joe Torrz. The line up is a full strength and is gaining rare reviews across the music scene not just nationally but internationally too.
Skarlet Blue has appeared many times in numerous street press magazines, and has made the front page of the newspaper in Melbourne. Their explosive live show, combined with their catchy tunes and steadily growing fanbase both in the underage and overage market, has led to them supporting some of the countries most renowned artists.
In Sept/Oct Skarlet Blue embarked on their first tour to America where they playerd 26 shows in five weeks between Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Dieago, Phoenix and Tuscon.
They returned to the USA for another three week stint in April 2009 supporting local acts The Dreaming and Trust Company at The Whisky A Go Go in LA, and also supported them during the Arizona leg of the tour. Skarlet Blue also supported LA's very own Steel Panther at The Key Club plus playing their own show at The Viper Room.
Mid 2009 see's the release of their debut single, which includes a
Victorian In-store tour as well as National shows.
With their last two Headline shows sold out, Skarlet Blue continues to grow and rise above every occasion.
As people are beggining to talk, Skarlet Blue are
only creating more things for them to talk about.
They mean Business.

WOW! Gigs with the SWEET - sweet!! Say "Hi" to Andy for me! Any chance you're all maybe coming to QLD? ;)
They were a fave of mine many years ago & I even got to see them when they came to Oz back in '86 for their "Back to Blitz" Tour. I loved it! Took some piccies, bopped along, etc... (The only time I've seen them live, unfortunately and sadly the only time I got to see Mick their drummer perform. He sadly passed away from leukaemia. I only found that out while watching one of their dvds)
Have an awesome time supporting them. Hope to see you in the Sunshine State soon...

Lemme know if this is cool with you to come on Saturday... xx
