The mission of the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition is to act as an entity that is accessible to all skateboarders, promoting unity throughout our city’s diverse skateboard scene and taking a proactive role in creating and maintaining a safe, fun environment that all of Vancouver’s skateboarders can enjoy for years to come.

We're all stoked that China Creek has been spared from the 'dozer blade and will remain with us in the land of the living. Leeside? We're working on it. Honest. But progress is typical of bureaucratic processes... slow. New projects? In development.

In the meantime... go ruin your trucks on something. I want to see some axles showing!

The concept of this contest is simple, one manual pad, one flat bar and one ledge, the skater who do the best line will become the LORD OF THE LINE. The registration is available at Underworld for 10$ or the day of at 11am for 15$. Maximum 30 skaters. The contest will start at 2pm. slayrah	May 23 2007 4:34 PM The Vancouver Skateboard Coalition has been invited to attend The Collingwood Days Parade. We need you to come skate in the parade! Thanks to our Es sponsorship we should have some stickers and things to give away to kids. The theme this year is EVOLUTION OF TRANSPORTATION. The parade will consist of many forms of alternative transportation, with the focus on reducing negative effects on the environment. Collingwood Days will include several events such as information booths, food stands, and multicultural performances, history displays and story telling. May 26th 10 - 11 am - Parade Assembly at Joyce Skytrain Station Community Garden, Stage, Plant Sale and swap. 11 - 12 pm Parade to Carlton School Site Booths, entertainment, fun and games.
